At least we don’t have to suffer through that photographer who morphs babies into flowers… Anne Geddes or something like that. I usually have to bash my head in a car door after seeing her work. This photographer only makes me want to spraypaint kittens blue.
I think its a cute picture and I LOVE Anne Geddes, all her stuff is beautiful.
lol, i totally have to agree with Bill, a lot of restaurants have those pictures in their restrooms….and frankly the baby flowers scare the S%$T out of me!! Maybe its because her “art” isn’t very good or that i dont like cutesy things like babies and kittens in pictures…but those pictures always make me upset and aggravated when leaving the restroom…

because its so windy and nobody pinned their hats down.and they’re both in an awkward stance in this picture instead of carefree and just the right amount of candid. its too candid… its a.. candid overload…therefore awkwardness is inevitable.
Or perhaps because one of the girls only has one leg?! Is that the ‘abbreviation’?
Maybe the clue was in the title, people. ‘Awkward abbreviation’ – the ‘B’ in “Best” and the ‘F’ in “Friends”…BF = buttf***.

I HATE the word “besties” it reminds me of beasties, as in beastiality. I guess the lame people who use the word must be into that type of thing……
I’m with you 100%. Its way awkward too cause you can never react the way you want to when someone says the word without sounding like a sick perve… so you resolve remembering to at least get a kick out of it with a friend later, but forget cause like people said above, its really not that funny. Just awkward.
You think of ‘beatiality’ when someone says ‘beasties’ instead of what the word actually means: ‘animals’? You have a problem.
every single one of the pics in the archives are hilarious except this one. it makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE WHATSOEVER. awkward abbreviation??? BOF or BF is awkward? how is that awkward? i noticed one person commented that BF=butt****. since when? we’ve all heard the term “butt****”, but when has anyone ever used BF to describe it? “hey, you’re hot. let’s BF”. and then the caption “besties”??? how is this relevant? it doesn’t have anything to do with anything!!!

Dressing two kids up in prairie dresses and cheap hats and forcing them to walk on rocks in a windstorm is definitely awkward.

Okay… so this was a cute pic and I love the word besties. I really don’t get why it was considered awkward.

Hmm…when I first looked at this I thought it was two adult women dressed up to re-create some sort of Anne Geddes scene. My computer resolution isn’t that great, so I could be way off. But that would be an awkward abbreviation!
So, the one on the left doesn’t have a face, isn’t that awkward in and of itself?
So maybe its awkward because the kids are being forced to walk in an obvious storm barefoot, holding their hats on to their heads with all the strength they can muster??
