I thought they were at one of those places that do old timey photos but I think this is their house and how they actually dress.
“Do not touch me!”

Engagement photo? She seems to be prominently displaying her ring finger. But on closer inspection, his hand seems to be awkwardly resting on her baby bump. And why is she all in black on this auspicious but suspicious occasion? Will we ever know?

I think this might be one of those goofy western wedding photos – the way her hand is looks like she is showing off her rings! Please say it ain’t so!!!!
They look so stiff because photographers get some kind of twisted pleasure out of positioning people in very unnatural ways -”Tilt your head a little to the left. No, that’s too far. Now bring your chin up just a bit. Drop your shoulder. O.K., now a nice big smile!”
