  2. Heather says:

    holdin on for dear life.

  3. Michelle says:

OMG he’s about to have a panic attack. You can see the terror in his eyes.

  4. RockitQueen says:

Is that young Corey Haim on the left?

  5. Sour Kraut says:

“You can’t get away, Dad…you’re one of us. One Of Us…ONE OF US…”

  6. Jon says:

OMG These people are my neighbors and the dad is our Mayor…hahahaha. Wow I used to swim in their pool…

  7. You folks have alot of spare time.

  8. Mary Weiks says:

I don’t understand the comment about him going to a strip club. Can someone explain the joke?

  9. L says:

I know these people too. I grew up in their neighborhood. But of all the photos I’ve seen that are “awkward” this one is A BIT of a stretch. Funny find though.

  10. booger says:

They had to cling like that so they could all fit into the picture

  11. Atomicman says:

Whoever writes the captions for these is a flat-out moron. The writing is more awkward than the pics. The photos might be funny but you are not. You can’t write, your attempt at sarcasm is pathetic and you seem to suffer from “small brain syndrome.” You know, small thoughts, mediocre observances, juvenile humor all spouting from your pointed little head. I suggest you post an embarrassing photo of yourself (I’m sure the only kind available) and let everyone fire away – THAT would be funny.

  12. angel parks says:

Atomicman – It’s all for fun lighten up

  13. Zuzu says:

Thank you, people, for making me laugh. The photos are good, but your comments are hilarious. My office mate just remarked on my muffled barks and stifled fits of laughter.

Atomicman: My condolences on the apparent passing of your SENSE OF HUMOR. I do, however, give you a C+ for the “spouting from your pointed little head” crack, mixed metaphors aside. There’s hope for you yet.

  14. Binnyswaa says:

It seems clear to me that Atomicman was either the father in this picture, or the guy one of his daughters rejected that weekend. ;)

  15. jacjac1 says:

this poor man… they are holding on to him for HIS dear life. btw Luis that was so deserved and Atomicman please bud, get a clue.

  16. Maynard says:

When did they start cloning people? I thought that was illegal.

  17. Jimbo says:

Is it just me, or does the father look a lot like Art Linkletter?

And the webmaster needs to manually resample the photos to make them fit the designated width for the page. Never set the HTML code to make the browser resize images. The wide ones end up “squished”. You want them to retain their original aspect ratio so we can judge their true awkwardness.

As with many of the larger shots on here, people think everyone is squeezed together, but that’s just because they’re not seeing the photo the way it really is. Right click the photo and then click on “View Image” to see it properly displayed.

It’s not that strange of a photo when you see it displayed properly.

Looks like Marsha Brady, Art Linkletter, and that guy from “Friends”. Not sure who the others are, though.

  19. hmmmm says:

    Top middle… young Kurt Warner?

  20. Kelzo says:

    The daughters are hawt

  21. Christina says:

That was a lot of procreation.

  22. Shannon says:

Looks like all the girls are all cloned. Obviously they are related but sheesh.

  23. supppp says:

Holy crap this looks like a family i know,
but too many ppl so it cant be

  24. Verde says:

I can’t remember the last time I saw something like that…bookmark ftw =)

  25. alliedallas says:

After this shoot this photographer decided to finally invest in a wide angle lens.

  26. C says:

I really don’t see anything too awkward in this. The females grabbing his arms is a little much, but I don’t sense tension or anything as the caption suggested to me.

  27. Jen says:

I am concerned this is like the movie Bernies Vacation – something like that – where the friend dies and they have to pose him in the house during some party. Thinking “Dad” may be minutes from the grave – like they are holding him up or perhaps he is “not all there” and they are having to hold him to keep him from bolting! lol

  28. Gutch says:

Picture was taken while balancing on a raft in the middle of the pool.

  29. sam says:

i see danny tanner…but i don’t remember these other people from full house…

  30. Thomass says:

Must be something in the water? Is Grandpa dead..is that why they are all trying to hold on to him?

  31. elfdorado says:

The females HAVE to cling to him! They’re propping up his aged, teetering body, and if the boys were to do it, they’d break off his limbs or snap him in two!

  32. Winnie says:

This Pic looks like it was taken in a photo booth with everyone all crammed together like that. Not bad for quarter though.

  33. Sassy says:

    Top middle… young Kurt Warner?

    Nah, that’s Fred Savage.

  34. sandifay says:

Oh, come on. It’s obvious what’s going on here. The man is on a blind date and the woman sprung the kids on him at the last minute in a photo booth. Classic “dash and cling”.

  35. Jujee says:

The comment below the picture is all sorts of wrong…..and I love it!!! LOL :D

  36. willsy says:

I’m glad someone finally used the Klingon name for something truly useful.

  37. Dace says:

I honestly know this guy! I have seen this picture! This family is awesome…but I honestly busted my gut when I saw this picture on here!

  38. MIKE UNSTINKZ says:

    such a nice photo.

  39. Meghan says:

This is actually a really nice family picture. It doesn’t look awkward at all and I wonder how it made it on here- must have been a slow picture day.

  40. Lrlanb says:

WHY did they not just *relax* with their hands *down*?!? WHY are they making a choo-choo-train?!?

  41. kegbot says:

It’s a family ‘clinch!’ I think this posing was just a way of getting the whole bunch centered in the frame.

  42. Mizzdarling says:

I dont see anything wrong with this picture. classic fam. portrait

  43. Lady T says:

I bet when they move they move as one unit.

  44. Me says:

He has his own gravitational pull.

  45. dilligaf says:

We need a family portrait. Everyone hold Dad down so he doesn’t escape again. 1… 2… 3…. CHEEEEESE!!!!

  47. Jon says:

I know this family too (I won’t list their name to keep their privacy, what is left of it anyway). They are seriously great people, they let me stay at their house for a couple days last Fall when I was traveling. They went way out of their way to take care of me and my friends and make sure we had a great time. You couldn’t ask for a more friendly and fun family. The mom and dad are both super successful and the kids are all really great too.

  48. cheryl says:

to all the people who claim to know this family please pass on from me that i didn’t actually laugh at the photo or any of the comments..first time for everything.I agree there is nothing awkward about this photo and they do look like a lovely family.

  49. Monica says:

    Talk about needy.

  50. Brenda says:

This is one of the COOLEST families I’ve ever known! This picture is awesome! Gotta love the Acersons!!
