Oh, okay. i’d like to think these parents went on to become staunch buttoned down conservatives & the kid continued with the hairstyle/lifestyle the rest of his life. And the parents didn’t dare say anything about it because this time it was true. They really did make him that way.

We called this style the “Michigan Claw” back in the day – it was usually just confined to the bang region…I love the feral child comment. Everytime I think of this picture and comments I crack up – people at work are starting to think I am weird.

Hey Steve, I am almost convinced I know this family, well, I mean I think I went to HS or middle school with one or both of them. I live in upstate NY and I am dying to know where they are from!!! Sorry. I was overwhelmed by a segue into the 80’s.

Lip stick should really be a different color than your normal flesh tone. Otherwise, it’s like erasing your lips. And that’s just weird.
