I don’t know whether it’s photoshopped or not, but I have a picture very similar to this of my son when he was a baby. It’s quite plausible that the baby gestured like that.
Oh my God, this made me laugh for five minutes straight. The expression on that kid’s face is priceless (“What the HELL am I doing with these two losers?”). Heh.

I think it’s funny that people think this is photoshopped. I know the family well and this is absolutely NOT PHOTOSHOPPED! I also love the comment about dad looking like Sylvester Stallone, this is his new nickname by the way.

tis totally photoshooped as the finger is way too long for a baby that size. funny though
save the image, open the saved image with a browser and keep zooming in – the finger is clearly photoshopped/faked in. Different color, different size, and plopped on top of the closed fist babies usually make. Maybe it’s time to open a new category for “faked awkward family photos” for folks who are into creatively making awkwardness, and keep the other gems here from being soiled/diluted by these sorts of activities. Just an idea.

Is it just me or does dad bear a slight resemblence to Sylvester Stallone?
I have an ultrasound photo of my kid (the tech switched over to 3-d) and it REALLY looks like he’s giving the finger in utero. My husband and I didn’t want to say anything during the ultrasound to, ya know, ruin the moment. But as soon as the tech left we were laughing our butts off and playfully arguing over who he gets that trait from.
Um, I’m sorry but this is obviously a fake. The baby’s finger is too long and the coloring doesn’t match well.
I beg to differ…I think this is definitely a cross bow!
