This is for that close-knit group that is so close that they are literally on top of one another. Uncomfortable? Quite the opposite… for they ain’t heavy, they’re my brother and my mother.

Wouldn’t expect any less from a place called Glamour Shots. Thinking about opening a place myself, Awkward Shots, is it taken already? I bet it is.
I would LOVE to have my picture taken at AWKWARD SHOTS. My husband and I have to go to Walmart… they usually don’t understand the joke.
count me in too! i’ll get our matching sweaters ready.
Awesome!!
With your AGE emblazoned on it!!
Well that is a typical Glamour Shots pose…leopard print…crawling on the ground…
So true!! Years ago I decided to have my pic. made there as a gift for my husbands birthday. They put tons of make up on me, ratted & sprayed my hair and did 3 ‘looks’…. leather… fuzzy sweater… and a huge feathery boa…
You got to look at the proofs right after the sitting…
All I could do was laugh- and with every proof, I would laugh harder until tears were streaming down my face- I looked like a madam in a bordello!
They didn’t appreciate that AT ALL- ha!
The face of that boy sais everything…
and a little too much is my guess
Another good one cheryl.
Let’s just hope that OctoMom doesn’t try this one
Hahhhahhahahhaaaaa – hahhhhhhhhhhhahahhaa
HA!!! I can’t even imagine what that would look like!
I call this a Family Sandwich of Love.
“Family Sandwich of Love” – I just choked on what I was drinking!!!
Hilarious!!!
oof!
Aw, that’s cute. The son’s hair is just like mom’s!
What photographer says “hey kid go lay on top of your sister”
Seriously!!!!
LOL! Hey! Stacking families is an art form in….well, no where really.:)
“Stacking Families” That sounds like the name of a video I accidentally rented once…twelve times….
Depends on the genre of magazine you’re talking about.
EXCUSE ME…what the hell happened to the Loaded Weapon pic?!?!?
THAT WAS THE BEST ONE!! *cry*
That is exactly what I was wondering??????? WTF
Uh oh. Someone must have tipped Dirty Harry off. I hope we get a followup post with the scoop.
yes, where is the loaded weapon???? Please someone tell my why it was removed?
i thought that photo was wonderfully poetic… miss it
The man who had the gun saw it posted and wanted it OFF this website!! LOL
That was one of the best ones so far! I, too, am wondering where it went. Bring it back!
i would pay a monthly fee to view this site if you promised never to take pictures off… loaded weapon is GONE, armshelf family on the beach is GONE… these are classics and should not be removed!!
Lot of talk about that. Sorry I missed it!!
WOW!! This might be the most awkward photo on this site. Physically and emotionally.
Seriously what happend to Loaded weapon!?!?
The girl on the left looks SO happy to have her little brother lying on her back.
The Bonaduces were a very close-knit family as Danny (top left) can attest to…
Ha HA! thats hilarious!
I love your site! The photos are very funny! I laughed too!
I feel squished looking at this and not in a good “Hollywood Squares” way.
i’ve never seen a family Glamour Shot before…
My favorite glamour shot pose (if asked) is the behind the back glance when dressed in a off the shoulder number. Also the holding out the shirt collar pose in contrast to the over large shoulder pads. TImeless.
This word, “glamour”. It doesn’t mean what you think it means.
haha yeah i wouldn’t see this picture and think glamour.
Wow.
Just wow.
It’s very glamorous… CHEESH! You can’t tell by the animal print scarf belt?? Come on guys…
It’s hella glamorous… GEEZ… Can’t you tell by the animal print scarf belt?? Come on guys…
This is… so wrong. It makes me physically uncomfortable just to look at it. Weird and funny.
open-face famwich.
ROFL!
fantastic!
The epitome of awkward!
HAhahahahahaha
why do the two pairs have matching pants? on the left- blue jeans; on the right-leopard print black jeans. Just to add to the awkwardness…
I think they misunderstood the meaning of the phrase “bonding time.”
It’s really upsetting to see that no one noticed this as being Photo-Shopped. Clearly. Come on. The family took seperate paired pictures, obviously. This only counts as an awkward family photo when you’ve messed around with it, clearly not the point of the site. On a side note, I would totally love to be the receptionist for your Awkward Shots photo place =D
You clearly know nothing about photoshop, or photos, if you think that. Stick to your dreams of being a receptionist.
the mom looks like Lavern from Lavern and Shirley
The sisters are gritting their teeth, waiting for the picture to be done so they don’t have to hold hands anymore.
Why is the mom on top of the daughter? Takes a whole new spin to putting her down.
The son looks like a younger version of Sam on the photo “Awkward Set Up”
“These are my two girls and my son, Woody”
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cute girls
hahaha i totally have a picture like this! except it’s two children piled on top of me. hhahahaa i wish i had it i’d post it on here
haha wow.
Gahh, so wrong on SO many levels. O.O
When my brother and I got pictures taken at Target last year for our parents we asked if we could do a funny picture too and asked if she had any suggestions. This was the same pose she suggested we do. I couldn’t believe it. Needless to say, that wasn’t about to happen! It’s just strange especially when it is immediate family! My brother and I are close and all, but not THAT close!
This is wrong in soooooo many ways!
One thing I love about this is that someone had to decide which person on the bottom could best take the weight of the mother, as opposed to her son. “Hmm…. Which one of these girls is sturdier?”
When you’re making decisions like that, you *know* it’s a good idea.
Someone get the compound bow!
I want to be that dude
jenny… the first kid in history to be totally justified
to tell her mother to get off her back.
Hey, does anyone notice that the background is the same as the “WATCHMAN” in a banana hammock?
Oh yeah, that looks natural! What was the photographer thinking??
Do you think this is the simplest way to make your point?
can anyone say, “spam”?
“spam, spam, spam, spam… you can have eggs and spam, sausage and spam or ham and spam…”
Really? I thought your post was exceptionally well written, too! Did you really lose thirty pounds in thirty days? Tremendous! I’d love to hear more about that. As you mentioned…it appears like there is more depth here for later posts. Wow, your avatar sure is cute!
Anyone thought of spamming them back?
There is nothing NOT funny about this comment.
HER pic is an awkward photo, too!
