To make matters worse, even from this distance they could see that Lisa Byron Chesterfield had left a platter of beans, cocktail sauce and NON-REGULATION prosciutto pinwheels- AGAIN! And that Amy Misto: just standing there holding a green bean AND asparagus pie in one hand and a SOUP SPOON in the other. (Why oh why did Marney bother sending AMY wedding instructions and orders? Why did Amy choose to read THIS one? Of course, a fabulous wedding does NOT make itself so the orders had to be sent- but it doesn't work unless everyone performs his or her task EXACTLY as requested! AND THIS WAS NOT EXACTLY AS REQUESTED!) Mike tried to hold her back (you know how Mike is). Ultimately, it was ugly. Very ugly. No amount of Clos du Bois could erase the memory- although they tried.
