But a man/”outlaw” with a gun, a bag of money, a jar of whiskey and a naked girl ought to be happy. His face should say, “Oh yeah, I got it all. I’m THE man!” Instead it says, “She made me do this.”

Not awkward at all. I worked at an old time photo place, and this is one of the poses they offered. The girl has on shorts and a tube top and the guy has on shorts, no one is naked, and a billion other people have take the exact same picture. Granted, it’s not as common as flappers or saloon girls, but it’s really not that weird.
