No, this is a definitely boyfriend thing. A husband has already “bought the cow” – he does not need to keep paying by posing for humiliating photos. However, a boyfriend can be talked into darn near anything.
You obviously haven’t seen the gratuitous pregnancy photos with husband’s yet.
I think most people realise we’re in the 21st century and not everyone who lives together is married.

This just doesn’t look like a very realistic bath to me. I think the fact that it’s surrounded by silly old western props and stiff unwet participants makes this photo silly and awkward. I assume this is what they were going for.
I just shake my head when I see stuff like this and others like it on this site. First, what on earth is going through someones head to think this is a good idea and second, why does the other person agree to it?
I don’t care how hot the guy or girl is or much you love them, a bad idea should trump all.

My husband and I had an ‘old western photo’ taken years ago (WITH clothes on). It was just a fun thing to do at the time. I love this photo and think they’re a goodlooking couple.
