Ever wondered what the kid with the clarinet is really thinking?
(submitted by Scott)
“Meeeeemories light the corners of my miiiind…” WEIRD picture, but it’s cute 🙂
I believe this picture is why the internet was created.
I’m good enough…I’m smart enough…and doggone it, people like me!
YES…..best comment so far. Kuddos
His favorite song to play on the clarinet is Stuck on You by Lionel Richie.
“Got this feeling down deep in my soul that I just can’t lose–guess I’m on my way . . .”
I WILL be in the marching band. I know I will!
one time at band camp…
This is a very awkward photo, clarinet boy looks like he lives on his right shoulder, he probably whispers evil things in his ear.
You can’t see it but there’s another little guy with red horns and a tail on his other shoulder…
Just as I suspected! Damn clarinetists…
Since my clarinet will never be heard on the marching field over all those brass instruments, maybe it will be heard through my mind.
“Use the force, young Clarinet Player…”
I assume that because he’s not wearing red that he’s the ‘angel’ on the shoulder. Where the little devil? Would the devil play jazz flute?
They all laughed at him…but Tommy never gave on his dream to be the first clarinetist to join Pantera.
And that boy became Vinnie Paul
The young boy did not want to go to band practice…luckily his shoulder angel appeared to convince him otherwise.
At least he’s happy in his mind.
he’s thinking “i ROCK this band uniform”!!! and seriously, who can resist a clarinet player with that steely gaze????
Blue steel, baby!
malkovich malkovich and so on…
i’m not sure this pic even NEEDS a comment lol…priceless!
…What?! Wh…bu….I just don’t understand!
It reminds me of those photos you can get taken in Little Portugal with your kid in the foreground and a floating, semi-transparent Jesus head floating in the background. Only in this case, Jesus is holding a clarinet.
now this is what I’m talking about…AWKWARD!
he’s thinking “this one time…at band camp….”
Got my mind on my clarinet & my clarinet on my mind!
Couldn’t have said it better! Perfect caption for this photo!
This is a really good example of technology getting into the wrong hands…
Poor kid! Think he knew it would turn out like this?
He’s thinking, “get this damned thing outta my head!”
One time, at band camp…
The intense stare … the wry grin …to me, it says: “Yeah, Ize gotz the embouchure, but Ize can also party like a Klezmatic.”
Oh my, I hope this kid is now an adult with a a good sense of humor
I had one of these superimposed pics when I was a kid with my brother and my cousin. I got to be the floating head. I gotta find that and post it!
Narcissism at its best. Love it.
I love how serious he is in the headshot and how incredibly happy he is with hes clarinet.
Thats awesome! Hall of fame posting here we come…
I have pictures like that too… only I was blessed with Drums and the Percussion Section. Clarinet players were 99% Girls when I was in High School.
“This one time, at band camp….”
Remember to use the force….
“I could be a great clarinetist if I realy set my mind to it.”
“This one time at Band Camp……”
It’s his invisible friend!
Ain’t this a fine picture of ‘inner happiness’…he looks so serious…I would have never guessed he was so happy!
This reminds me of a quote my mother-in-law said once, totally serious mind you, “I wonder what my brain is thinking”
now THAT is funny!
Ever wonder what the clarinet player is thinking?
We were thinking “God, I hate that I got stuck with this stupid instrument”
Poor guy. I hope he outgrew the geeky clarinet phase.
…yeah, that really fits – A Beautiful Mind. great.
he looks so sad
This would’ve been funnier if he was a trumpet player.
wow, poor kid to have such a picture that exists of him.
‘I dream of the day that my clarinet will give me hero status… with the ladies…’
