I actually know this family…awesome family. But hey, we all have our hilarious family photos from the 80’s & 90’s! LOL

  14. Becca says:

Okay, the turtleneck with tucked-in paid shirt and braided belt and boots of some sort was the uniform of my mom in the mid-90’s during the winter. At least she didnt wear the baseball cap with the ponytail coming out, yet secured with a scrunchie like this one mom did LOL

  15. Wes says:

that’s me on the left and lord knows what was going thru our heads other than how awesome we must look.

  16. me says:

i think the shirt the woman with the red headband is wearing goes with the pants the woman with the white shirt is wearing. looks like it was a pajama set, and both of them didn’t have anything plaid for the family portrait so they decided to split the pajama set: one took the shirt, the other took the pants. hahahaha

  17. Slick says:

I find it kind of funny. I find it kind of sad. The dreams in which I’m dying are the best I’ve ever had.
I find it hard to tell you, cuz I find it hard to take.
When people run in circles it’s a very, very…plaid world.
    Plaid world.

    Dare to be different!

  19. glasstabletop says:

oh no, this is very wrong.

    “I don’t have a plaid shirt…”
“Here, wear the bottoms to dad’s pajamas, I’m wearing the top.”
“What?! Why do you get to wear the top?”
    “Ya snooz ya lose!!”

Plaid is the loneliest color…that you ever knew.

  24. Jan says:

omg, this could be my family. Every we have a family get-together and I try to take a photo, each of my brothers, my sister, and mom will all have on a different plaid or pattern. It’s like playing “Where’s Waldo” to find the faces when you look at the photo later.

  25. Laura A says:

Cute family and a great idea. Who wants a family photo that has everyone all dressed up and uncomfortable anyway? This would be a great Christmas card photo.

  30. joy says:

Looks like the 2 front girls are sharing plaid pajamas. One wears the top, one wears the bottom!!

  31. Deb says:

Sorry to be pedantic but “plaid” is gaelic for blanket

the fact that their blankets were tartan has perhaps confused the language but officially the pattern is called “tartan”
