The De-evolution of pants….
Or
The Origin of the Jeans
I OWNED those blue and white striped pants!
When did Stephanie and DJ Tanner meet all those boys?
more bars in more places, the new at&t
OMG, this is soooo cute!! They don’t look awkward, they look like they really are having fun!
I Said Keep-on Keep-on Keep-on Keep-on moving all through the night…I said Keep-on Keep-on Keep-on doing it riiiiiiiiiiiiggggghhhht!
There are some talented genes in this family! Every child looks to be exactly the same amount taller and shorter then the next!
Ecch, I never went for this kind of family portrait. Nothing against the people here; just a matter of taste. This pic definitely belongs here.
too effing cute!
This is so early 90′s. I remember the striped Girbaud jeans. Those and Cavarichis…
I want them to reunite and pose EXACTLY LIKE THIS AGAIN.
That would be the HOTTNESS!
That would be GREAT!
These kids could sing the Do-Re-Mi song! That would be hilarious!
cute pic…but it looks like the cell phone coverage is slowly dwindling.
I think it’s totally a cute pic!
I blame M.C Hammer
The oldest girl looks like my cousin’s wife! I wonder if its her as a kid……..
Just once wish I could enjoy my bum this much…
The youngest girl’s outfit looks like something Stephanie or Michelle wore on Full House…
My thoughts exactly! Pretty durn funny
Notice how the 3 oldest boys went right before the photo to get the same haircuts
It’s a good thing they stopped at seven … eventually the rightmost kid would be microscopic!
Yep. Their parents knew what they were doing!
I was gonna say something about The Seven Little Foys, but I think that is a reference lost on about 95% of y’all on here – like anyone under the age of about 45…
I owned and proudly wore the stripped pants in 1991.
Absolutely great shot…they are all very cute…nothing wrong with the hands
That little girl is such a rebel. No denim for her!
Little Shiska took the front position, for he was smallest. Bob brought up the rear.
very very clever!! o——————–>
I’m glad someone got it! LOL Thanks.
It did take me a few seconds. I was wracking my brain for what I thought was a literary reference, then went, ooooohh! Nice!
They look like the cast of Oliver Twist!
Extra style points to the second shortest boy for pant leg in socks.
Rad!
He must have rode his bike to the photo shoot!
Like totally!
More bars in more places….
more bars in more places.
This is so perfect with the straight line down their heights, nearly as good as Awkwardian Era.
You put your right foot in, you put your right foot out, you put your right foot in, but if you take your hand off your hip the photographer will put you in the Bad Place.
….but they’re not even DOING it right!
Quiet Marney
hahaha
I love how all of their feet are turned toward the back wall, but all of their faces are turned toward the camera. It’s like some strange form of punishment has been inflicted upon them.
Cute pic. Perfect stairsteps!
Here we come, walking down the street…
AT&T – Raising the bar
Ahahahahahahaha! niiiiice!
Brilliant!
high-five on that!
I give credit to mom that gave birth to the 7 of them!
Exactly what I was thinking…what a warrior!
my mom had eight, but she never lined us up like that! (thank you mom.)
I wonder why the girls have their hands in their front pockets instead of the back?
Did you notice the boys have their hadns in their back pockets, but the girls have theirs in their front pockets? I wonder why…
deja vu
I think this is really cute…but the tallest kid is standing so funny…”look at my toosh”
Yeah, I think that’s probably the most awkward part of the picture.
Have the Duggar kids found 80′s fashion?
Maybe these are the oldest Duggar kids when they were younger?
Its the Duggar starter set.
“Its the Duggar starter set.” BRILLIANT!!!!
funny funny funny! Love it, thanks for the grin!
I was just going to post “the Duggars, the early years.”
Why are the girls not required to actually have their hands in their back pockets?
It’s like Oliver Twist meets The Brady Bunch.
and toss in a bit of the von trapps…
I was thinking the Duggar Family, the early years
I suppose I’ll be the 47th person to ask this, but why can’t the girls stick their hands in *their* back pockets?
I see a couple pairs of pegged jeans in there, folks! Booyah!
god, i love “Booyah!”
Those striped pants! It’s a good thing he’s not 2nd tallest, he and big brother would clash.
I think its odd that only the boys have their hands in the pockets – girl’s on their hips. This is a cunning social commentary.
I think the girls have their hands in front pockets, not on their hips.
i think the ONLY girl wearing not-denim didnt have back pockets and her big sis didnt want her to feel left out so she decided to put her hand in her front pocket too
A cunning social commentary which was too cunning for me and went straight over my head…what does it mean?
Is there something taboo about girls putting their hands in their back pockets?
Precisely my question, too. I love that some quirk in the situation caused this little difference. Mysterious.
binkymae has the right answer i remember the 80′s too well like a bad hair day..lol girls were more stylish to hit the hip ;0)
Because the photographer told them to. Don’t blame the kids. This is all the photographer’s fault!
I’m just glad their hands are in their own pockets this time
Hey, that IS weird! Come on women….is there something “un-ladylike” about hands in the back pockets?
Yes, the confident swagger of the 80s was hand on hip for the girls, and hand in pocket for the boys. However, the big brother missed this cool look by a tad by tucking all five fingers in the pocket.
Ditto!
man… the photographers in the 80s had HORRIBLE taste…
so true!
Not to mention the fashion designers. I can’t get past the awkwardness of the blue and white striped pants which so don’t go with that shirt.
Gotta love the folded-over then rolled up jeans!
not just the fold-over & roll up but the one kid when full ’80s and tucked them into his socks
actually, I think this is more early 90′s. Hair wasn’t really big until the 90s. (How sad is it, that I know that?)
INdeed, this pic screams “Full House” early 90′s
what about that one girls clown jumper…I hated those!
for real! who actually comes up with these poses and thinks they are a good idea?
I love the grin on siblings 4 and 6. (girl in the middle and second shortest boy)
That was my first reaction too! Maybe this awkward photo was their idea!
haha, the higher up you go, the more the smiles dwindle…
That’s usually what happens in life …
Ha!
Hilarious–me, too!
I love the way the girl in the middle wrinkles her nose. And then, I found the second boy. It is a pretty picture, after all
