Celia had always wondered why her great grandparents, the Cottons, had named their only daughter Candy. As she contemplated this once again, she was struck with sadness for the three Europeans who had lost their lives in the avalanche earlier that week. And it occurred to her that Grandma Cotton would make a perfect Q-Tip for a giant. He thoughts, they seemed frenetic lately.
