I don’t know who looks happier, the guy in the middle or the guy behind the guy in the middle.
I think he’s a saucy sailor! Anchors awaaaaaayyyyyy!
LOVE this picture. Nice to see folks actually enjoying themselves in the old days.
This was taken last week.
HAHAHA
I have to like this picture. Most photos you see from the past are so formal, posed. Even if everyone is smiling.
This photo kinda connects us all……
Look at the expression on the lady “seated” 3rd from the lft!
YES I LOVE HER!!! hahaha she kind of looks like she’s terrified of falling over and laughing at the same time.
Or the picture was taken just as she was about to announce her discomfort by using the four letter “s” word.
Or maybe she’s laughing so hard she has to pee!!
ALL OF THE ABOVE…I have a pic from the 20’s 30’s of my grandfather with all 12 of his siblings…it’s similar to this one with out sitting on each other..I need to find and post it….
I recognize some of these people from the last frame of “the shining”
This is awesome.
Third from the left is the only one who looks uncomfy. haha.
The tall, blonde guy in the middle looks like a very young Prince Phillip.
I’m pretty sure it is…
Fact is, this photograph is awesome.
Second from the right was the inspiration for the clown from the Saw movies.
HAHAHAHAHAHA
I really like this picture. They all look like they’re having so much fun. I would LOVE to have a photo of my grandparents like this.
The old feller 3rd from right looks so dignified in the midst of it all. ‘Spose his wife (right end) is the one who started it all? Cute!
Oh, my, was I off! Just read the background:
“L-R: Lady Rachel Davidson (lady in waiting to the duchess of Kent); Nada, Marchioness of Milford Haven, Lady Zia Wernher, Georgina Wernher, the Marquess of Milford Haven, Prince Philip of Greece, duchess of Kent, Sir Harold Wernher, Myra Wernher, and unidentified woman.”
Thank you, Marlene. Now we Colonials understand the joke better!
That makes it that much more enjoyable to look at and makes the title that much more understandable! Great Picture!
I think that unidentified woman just strolled into the frame and took a seat, just for the heck of it. Traditions be damned!
Unbelievably great photo!
“All aboard the booty train!”
i love this picture!!! good to see people were silly and like us back in the day!!even royalty
LOL!!!
Is this how people used to get pregnant???
I like the older lady on the end who doesn’t want to put all of her weight on. And the first lady on the bench who is dying but smiling nonetheless, afterall, it is a photo!
Glad to see that photographic couth has no boundaries or historical limitations.
this photo is awesome!!! TOTAL WIN!
I love this picture!!! I hope it is in a frame somewhere.
The older guy sandwiched between the two ladies looks purty dern happy! (BTW, this is an awesome picture!)
i noticed the old man first
LAWWWLLL
&then the rest of the familyy
The old gentleman on the far right looks alot like my Digital Media instructor from High School!
At least they made Grandma sit up front.
Aww the Human domino team of 1945…those were the days.
I absolutely love this picture!
the lady third from the left seems to be saying Geez Gertie what’d you eat for lunch? I love this picture.
This photo is fantastic. Funny, playful, and still tasteful. I’m not feeling any awkward here.
