AFP in the UK
November 16th, 2009
AFP is reaching out to families in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand looking for photos for the AFP book to be published in the UK. If you have any awkward family pics, you can submit them at http://awkwardfamilyphotos.com/send-us-your-photos/… and let us know where you’re sending them from. Thx!

Do we not care about Ireland??
Nope. Not really.
Nigel – no, because as any well educated American knows, Ireland is not part of the UK, unlike Australia and New Zealand.
Tom – no, because as any well educated person knows neither Australia nor New Zealand are part of the United Kingdom (of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) K. Good grief. We are part of the Commonwealth but proudly independent and have been so for quite a long time ……We might be small (in the case of NZ) but gee whizz…does no-one teach any geography over there????
Kiwi, either I missed your joke or you missed Tom’s. I’m going for the latter.
lol i love when people freak out about something that turns out to be (quite obviously) a joke.
does the rest of the world not get our jokes?! could this be why americans have such a bad reputation?! oh wait, no that’s because of george w. bush. i almost forgot about that.
…*goes to sulk*
Hey Nigel – We do. Definitely submit your Irish awkward family pics. Thanks!

hmm? repite por favor.
There are no awkward people in the UK.
Not true – there are loads of awkward people in the UK. We just tend to turn a blind eye to them on account of our good manners/stiff upper lip/and our own feelings of awkwardness. Awkwardness is often described as ‘eccentricity’…….
I love England…or…is it Great Brittain? Either way, I love your little Gecko on those commercials and how you say fish and chips instead of fries. You’re the coolest.
Yes…I went to public school.
