I do think this is photo awkward, though, much like the photo with the parents and their kids and spouses/SOs kissing in the field. Not counting our wedding, I just feel weird kissing my husband in front of my parents or my in-laws. My MIL is a minister, so at their house, which is the parsonage, I feel like I’m going to Hell if my leg so much as touches my husband’s while sitting on the couch.
But what I think must be strange for the Duggar kids is that siblings tend to raise their kids together, not parents and their children. My siblings and my husband’s siblings are so excited for us to have kids so that we can raise them together and the cousins can all hang out together, much like we all did with our own cousins… But to be raising kids side-by-side with your own parents has GOT to be weird. Not judging them, I mean, to each his own, but that has to be a strange experience to share with your parents.

They aren’t the Duggars. You people are LAME…The couple on either side are too young to be the Grandparents/parents. The Duggar dad’s hair is much lighter than either of these guys, plus he is taller and the Duggar mom is much shorter and a little heavier than either of these two ladies.

-The fact that it looks like they’re too busy making out and are ignoring the baby.
-The fact that I thought was a doll at first, so even more awkwardness! (MY first thought: why are these people kissing in front of a doll in a crib? Weird.
-Even the photo shoot must have been awkward: “Okay, line up there behind the crib, place your arms like this, ladies have your torso facing forward and your heads fully turned sideways. Now kiss. Perfect, hold that while I wait for the baby to look this way.”
-Also, as has been mentioned already, unless you know who these people are (I’ve never even heard of that show), you can’t tell who the parents are… hence the title and caption!
I’m with Sarah. This picture isn’t awkward. I personally love the Duggars. If they can afford to have that many kids and they love them then that is their personally choice. And no, Josh and Anna are not going to compete with their parents. They will have as many kids as they believe they should

Why could they just not have taken a photo with them all smiling, instead of all kissing, thats what makes it awkward!

The best part was when Pa Duggar announced to son and daughter in law that they (the parents) conceived on Father’s Day ! I was uncomfortable for them.

The son has already said he doesn’t want a family that large-thank God. Last year a dr. told the parents they should consider stopping w/the kids due to Michelle’s age. This season they are saying she’s fine. I don’t believe it. It’s great that they support thier own family but I think JoeBob is selfish and needs to give his poor wife a baby making break!
Yeah, but they still don’t believe in any method birth control, just as their parents don’t. And they have said that they will have as many children as God gives them. So they could easily have as many (or even more) children as Josh’s parents.
