“This is my mom, dad and brother in Sydney. Posing on a bridge, my brother set the camera on timer, and ran back to join my parents. However, he had too much momentum and fell back into the pond.”

No one’s commented on the fact that they’re in Sydney but are in front of a Chinese mural… And I just can’t let that one go.
That just makes the picture soo much more funny because it’s so out of place. If only there was a random kangaroo in the picture as well.

OK I have never laughed so hard at a picture before! I use the auto picture taking feature on my camera a lot and I always worry that I am going to crash on my rush back to get in the picture!

Uh, yeah, I totally agree, while I was in college, my family was galavanting around Australia! I have to admit though, even after years of seeing this photo, I can’t stop laughing. Classic.
p.s. it’s not the first (or second) time he’s fallen into a pond.

This is in the beautiful Chinese Gardens, in the city, in Darling Harbour. Didn’t anyone tell them to beware the carp in the pond? The carp are very tricky … they have shepherd’s crooks, and they hook tourists around the neck, very gently, so gently that the person can’t even feel it … and hoik them backwards into the water!

Oh that is too funny. Ha ha ha! It’s made even more funny to me as I know exactly this spot in front of the Chinese Gardens at Darling Harbour and have myself done almost the exact same thing. It’s a low bridge! I wonder what the goldfish thought?? LOL!!!
I almost fell too! It is a very short bridge. I bet it was very smelly in the Koi pond.
I wonder if the designers of the art wall in the background KNEW someone would fall in and that’s why the carved a giant splash into the middle of their mural
