On the first page, someone explains about this picture. It is a dance routine – apparently about the conception and birth of a baby. This photo is the end of the dance routine.

My daughter says it looks like a artichoke. I thought it looked like a spider.

Also, on a previous page, someone asked about the third set of hands. Two dozen people decided to play redundancy and pointed out that one of the women was holding the baby.

Kinda weird. Kinda creepy. But kinda artistic, too.

  2. Edward says:

I honestly don’t get why you’d do that. It just doesn’t make any sense to me. One of the most awkward family pictures ever.

  3. Susan says:

Kewlest family picture ever! NO sarcasm, I LOVE this!

  4. James says:

I think it’s cute, odd but still cute. A real dance oriented family, plus it is just a beautiful photo.

  5. mary says:

    WHY? WHY?

  6. Susan says:

Is that baby human or octopus?

  7. Suki says:

So that’s where babies come from?

  8. EileenM says:

It looks like a giant vagina to me, so is that because of the baby? Who knows. Sad these girls have to look at this for the rest of their lives.

  9. T says:

THATS MY AUNT HAHAHA. if anyone is wondering what the inspiration for this artistic pic is, she has a modern dance company and it had something to do with vagina monologs if memory serves me correctly . The company is Snappy Dance Theater based out of Boston, check it out!

all i can say is… why?

  15. MangoMango says:

    Anne Geddes is evil.

  16. Nerdboy says:

I’m just praying there isn’t a man somewhere in that…salmon colored leotard disgrace. I’m not even going to sit up in my chair to look closely. dear God,.

  17. Jeannie says:

Pretty sure the little BOY in this photo will be TOTALLY embarrased when he sees this around age 11. If you look at the expression on his face, he may be embarrased already.

  18. V says:

    is it a lotus flower?

  19. Angela says:

umm…put a diaper on the baby BOY! geez!

  20. jenniep says:

    cirque de sol baby

  21. Crimson says:

    Why…? How…? Where…? *sigh* nevermind.

  22. valerie reeves says:

without a doubt THE most bizarre, awkward, disturbing and just downright freakish family photo EVER.

    • Oh boy.... says:

Thank you!! the only thing that could possibly make it worse is if there were more of them naked other than the baby.

  23. lori says:

maybe a pair of hands can go hold that baby that the other couple left on the cement stairs lol

  24. Emily says:

Wow, who comes up with something like this? Frightening.

  25. tiffaroo2606 says:

REALLY NOW.. who goes into a photo studio in a ballet leotard and has that pose in mind? i think this was some photographers artistic ability gone terribly wrong.

  26. Arielle says:

They are doing two things here: imitating a Joffrey Ballet (there’s a famous pose with these exact color leotards) and the Cosby Show- sort of. Way to go.

  27. Bob says:

Does this look really really creepy to anybody else?

  28. the5thplanet says:

I can’t tell if they’re women or men. That’s just disturbing!

  29. paige says:

    ALL I CAN SAY IS……………………AWKWARD!!!!{LOL}

  31. jo king says:

    its a dancer thing… i like it

    • Miffy says:

Yeah, I think it’s kind of cool. If those are all girls and they’re into dance…

      • Aly :D says:

It is kinda cool…but I think the only happy peron in that pic is the baby. It kinda looks like they’re all giving birth to each other in some weird, freakish way.

  32. Per Edman says:

That’s a good impression of a lotus blossom. Dressed in polyester.

  33. Ananas says:

I really want to come up with something funny to say, but I just don’t get this photo. I don’t understand why.

  34. Cid says:

  35. Jill says:

so, this looks like some sort of vajayjay having a baby. am i alone in this thought?

  36. Hillary says:

So I emailed this to my mom, who still doesn’t quite get all of this “technology”, and she asks … “Do we know those people?” My sisters and I (and nephew, of course) are going to take our own “human bloomin’ onion” picture and give her a framed copy. Not sure where we’ll get those flashy leotards, though

  37. Casey says:

It would be kind of pretty if it wasn’t so… odd.

  38. Crystal says:

This could win the most Awkward Family Photo of all time. Hands down.

  39. McMc says:

It gives a whole new meaning to Lotus Postion.

  40. LAURIE says:

Omgoshhhhh…likes like a big pink spider trying to eat a baby!! lol

  41. erin says:

what in god’s name?! how long did it take to find someone to take the picture that wouldn’t drop the camera from laughing so hard they peed themselves?

    • Mike says:

Holy crap! I almost fell on the floor because of your comment! Hilarious. I’m not sure what my feelings are on this one.

      • Aly :D says:

Haha I think this pic is awkward for everyone. The comments are hilarious, tho. There are so many things wrong with this pic…I would have dropped the camera like 50 times if they wanted me to take the picture lmao. I wonder how the family reacted to the way the pics turned out…

  42. Jake says:

AVAST! I just escaped from ye! (Pirate Baby)

  43. E Esplin says:

The girls are saying, “hurry up before this kid pees all over us!”

  44. Joanne says:

Remember “My Two Dads”? This is a promo shot for “My Three Moms”, starting this fall on NBC

  45. racquel says:

    I like it.

  46. Rick says:

First time I ever saw a baby have tripletts!

  47. DC Becca says:

The three big sisters are tired of baby keeping them up all night…..this is their subtle way of telling their parents that they liked it better when baby was still inside the womb? (Look at their faces…the big ‘uns aren’t happy, aren’t smiling….and they look tired.)

  48. Kat says:

I bet someone queefed getting into that pose and dropped the baby laughing.
