Discarded album shot for Nirvana’s In Utero album?
…and that is how a baby is born
OK, look at the baby’s face…even SHE knows this is so TERRIBLY wrong.
Even worse! That’s a BOY!
This is wrong on exactly 12 levels.
There is something very Georgia O’Keefe about this picture.
Hold me close tiny dancer?
The John Carpenter’s The Thing inspired portraits was, thankfully, short lived.
Baby Shiva looks mighty surprised.
I knew that kid would get tired of those E*Trade commercials.
(Milk-a-holic WHAT?)
The caption is, uh, awesomeeeee!
I think this is a cool idea for a photo!
Did the boy pee on the person holding him?
Okay, that’s way more than 10 cm.
So, who gets the epidural if there’s only one anaesthesiologist on call?
OK…..I’ve found a use for a Snuggie….cover this family!!
Ok. this is the Royal Dutch company’s version of a tulip, right. the child has a bursary to a good university right, free therapy fir the baby…. freud would love this…
It’s like a Justin Timberlake: I can’t decide if I should laugh hysterically or be completely horrified.
Wow, that’s a bit “Georgia O’Keef-esque.” Perhaps the photographer was fresh off his/her shift at the meth lab?
Perhaps they were all standing up facing the other way with the baby upside down and then fell into this position? It was supposed to be all of them reaching out to hug the baby until they lost their balance? The baby does look surprised!
Did anyone elise turn their computer screen upside down to look at their faces?
haha i did!!
Yes, I was trying to figure out if it was 2 parents and an older child, but the ages do not appear to add up lol
Yess–immediatly!!!
I think I need some Pepto Bismol!
Octomom!
This looks like a blooming onion mate!
spotted the australian . yeha !!
How much pain and discomfort did these people have to go through to get this picture – especially whoever is on the bottom?
That’s exactly what I was thinking. How uncomfortable does it have to be for that girl on the bottom?
I’ma go with *very.*
The family that splays together……….
Brilliant!
And…it’s a boy! Congratulations to the proud flower. Mums, maybe? Or mums the word?
So which one’s Mom?
The ONLY plausible explanation for this is that the parents are in fact, dancers. It doesn’t make it right – just a bit less disturbing
To much to compute.. brian is hurting..
WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?
Would love to know the back story on this one.
I see these professionally posed photos and I can’t help but wonder, whose idea was this pose? THe photographer’s? THe subjects? The parents?
Just put me up in front of a fake forest background wearing my Sunday best with a fake smile and take that damned picture
Ahh heck it just hit me!
I just thought the photo was a bit arty, then I looked at it again… all the pink bits. And then, ohh. OHHH! THAT’S what it is. How embarrassing.
Who’s the mommy?
I saw that thing in an “Alien” movie.
I NEED to know the story behind this picture
The original Octomom.
Reminds me of a horseshoe crab flipped on its back.
It had to have taken a few minutes, at least, for the arms and legs to get into proper position. That being said, top girl should consider herself very fortunate that “diaperless baby” didnt feel the need to void!
Glad to see Anne Geddes has expanded beyond produce.
ROTFL!!
YES!!!!! LMAO
I think it’s awesome!
I’m with Carol. I think it’s cool.
two year old says “Maybe spider hold baby?”
Um….is right! Is that a guy or girl on top holding the baby. There are no words to describe this. Its beyong awkward!
Think of the hours of practice this took. But still, the baby does not look secure or comfortable. Imagine the rejected shots from this photo shoot!
My only comment is…WHY? And “Because we can!” doesn’t count.
What occurs when yoga, Pilates, P90X, and diaper changing collide
there are 3 pairs of legs but only 2 pairs of arms!?!?!???????????? weird!
The third set of hands is holding the baby…look again.
It’s still weird…liked the crib comment!!1
look who’s holding the baby…
The other pair of arms is hanging on to the baby.
third pair of arms is holding the baby…
the other arms are holding the baby so he doesn’t fall.
…one of them is holding the baby
If you look carefully, the top female has her hands along the side of the baby up to his/her armpits, for support.
The last pair is holding the baby, keeping it from tumbling down the sides of the, well, whatever it is.
That’s because the 3rd pair of arms is holding the baby.
The third pair of arms is holding the baby.
Top girl’s arms are holding the baby
The one on top is holding the baby.
One pair is holding the baby, duh!
They are holding the baby.
The other pair of arms is holding the baby.
That’s because the third person is holding the baby.
The 3rd pair of arms is holding the baby
No, there are also 3 pairs of arms. Two pairs are out to the sides, the third pair is holding the baby.
so then, to be perflectly clear, are there ANY arms holding the baby? Don’t everyone speak at once!
LOL @ Bruce, I was thinking the same thing.
So, wait…where’s the third pair of arms???
Repeat that, please?
I’m still a little confused by this. I know y’all are trying but it doesn’t seem to be working. Where is the third pair of arms? What exactly are they doing?
oh gosh, I cannot refrain from laughing!! is everyone decided that the 2nd pair of arms are holding the baby?
I’m hoping they had something funny written on their bottoms, and we’re just waiting for the other shoe to drop.
This is exactly what you think it is, but it is not the whole story. This is a dance group that actually interpreted sex, conception and birth through a dance routine. This photo is actually the end of the dance piece. I once saw the entire thing on Youtube. I would have included the url but I cannot seem to find it on youtube now. It is strange but from the beginning you realize what the ending will be.
Aha, that explains everything
Some video! This is from the scene “Birth of a Phobia.”
I wonder what Marie Barone would have to say about this.
HAH! I miss Marie Barone!
And I see it’s you again, iLOLd. Still hearting you!
I so wanna see that video now!!!!
Thank you!! Finally someone mentions it! I recognized it right away. I always thought it was a beautiful dance routine
Thank you so much! I saw the pointed toes and knew they HAD to be dancers. Most people bend their feet in the middle to point their toes, Dancers are taught to “stretch” with their feet like they are reaching for something with their “index” toe. I wish I could see the video though!
That is the strangest baby crib I have ever seen.
LOL…….priceless.
O………………………M…………………………….G……………………………this is the beginning of years of therapy.
Um. I….uh….wow….what…..wow…..who….never mind.
They look like those shrimp things that attack the faces in that one scene in Beetlejuice.
HILARIOUS!
BAAAAHHHHAAAAAAA
HA HA!!!
