If you notice the boy’s hands are not resting on his brothers’ shoulders. Notice how his hands are positioned, he is giving them nasty nerve-pinch holds. If I was in that kind of pain, I would be crying too!
i am a twin with an older sibling. a picture like this means the older one caused the crying and is now making a face to hide the guilt! (no actual physical contact necessary, older sibling mind games will ruin your whole day, let alone your family photo)
Exactly.. that grin is definitely the ‘I’m as innocent as an angel, but guilty as sin’ grin (you know he bounced the smaller kids’ head’s together or something just as sinister just before the shot). This is almost surely a guilty smile.
I’d be pretty upset about those outfits too. Who buttons all the buttons when paired with shorts like those? Matching shorts at that, so you know it was on purpose. The older one’s hair is creepyly perfect.
I do like though, that back in the day the picture was snapped whether the kids were crying or not. I can appreciate the reality in that.
Lol, you know there was a line at the church’s photo night, too, so the guys was like, whatever, we’re snapping it. I bet Mom and Dad were loving the proofs.
My mom used to do that to us if we acted up in church! Made it look as if she was lovingly placing a hand on our shoulders when in reality she was immobilizing us with “The Claw.”
The older kid is just used to hearing his brothers scream like that–he’s learned to tune it out. I have an older boy and twins, and I could take this exact picture (minus the bowl cuts), I’m sure.

Read It and Weep! That’s genius! Hahaha!

it’s the only logical thing to do-Vulcan Nerve Pinch, family style
this has got to be the cutest picture ever.
awwwww I LOVE THISSSSS!
He has a thumbtack on each thumb, obviously.
DOUBLE VULCAN NERVE PINCH
The poor little tykes knew that on the count of “three” big brother would knock their heads together, and the photographer was already on “two”….
lol
Aww. . . . pressure points and perfect timing

lil’ tan shirt is gonna ruin his best velour shirt when that kool-aid drool rolls off his lip…

Alternate album cover for “Synchonicity” by “The Police”.
If I was the mom, this one would be on my wall in a frame! Thanks for sharing.
Vulcan NECK PINCH… lol
I love IT!!!!!!!!!
I have two little brothers.
Been there, done that.
I think the older child is a girl, possibly the Emily who submitted the picture.
He’s probably not even related, he just photobombed them.
Big brother’s face: PWNED!
I’m so creeped out by the Stepford-esque older brother. No Vulcan would ever smile like that. Would they?
One out of three ain’t sad.
OMG! I’m weak! HAHAHAHA!!!
Chuck Norris would be proud, a double choke hold at such a young age!!!
This picture is comedy gold. Almost as good as the one with the guys posing with their dad and the family cat.
The day little Johnny and his brothers learned about pressure points.
It looks like the brother is pinching their shoulders. Bully, LOL!
I love this, nuff said
One of my favorite pictures.

The Vulcan Death Grip in effect.
My thoughts exactly!
I love you. By the way. lol
Yes!! I’m glad I’m not the only one who spotted that!

Exactly my thought!!
Totally!

Aahhh-the magic of stereo-no woofers, only tweeters
