Haha, so I’m friends with the M*A*S*H dude’s son and here’s the thing. To the Carpe person, he was not your teacher, he’s not from Indiana, but from South Dakota. Therefore, he’s not Mr. K, that’s not his last name…just thought I’d put that out there…but anyway, this picture is hilarious, and it makes it even better that I know M*A*S*H man! I’m so proud to know someone on this website!

OMG if you look at the youngest moustache – then the next oldest…they grow just a little bit until you see the grown-up, manly man moustache on the oldest! Like drawing pictures on a flip-book and flipping the pages…you can literally watch the moustache grow up! Ha!

this is one of those things that will never stop cracking me up. Like saying “turn sniggle” instead of “signal”. I have to stop commenting so i can gaze at it some more. This has literally made my whole week.
I think I’m having the same reaction as you Janelle. Except for a different reason – these are my uncles!!! My sister posted the picture and I had no idea until today. Tears are streaming down my face uncontrollably! I am so glad everyone is enjoying my family’s awkwardness!

I originally saw this just browsing through the site, and with each downward scroll of my mouse wheel, I kept laughing harder and harder as more and more of this picture was displayed, top to bottom, ending with the icing on the cake: M*A*S*H / short shorts/ tube socks…. in that order, on top of allllll those ‘staches.

All the previous commenters seem to have overlooked my favorite aspect of this photo: the father’s incredible stance. Hand on the hip, one foot up on the hearth, with those “come and get it” eyes. Rawr.

He was my teacher in 6th grade, no lie. He rode a motorcycle to school and would let us call him Mr. K when we could spell his name correctly, which was very long. I won’t say their last name to preserve any last shred of dignity here, but I will take a moment to bask in the awesomeness.
