Those are norman rockwell plates on the wall. As someone earlier said, it’s not awkward but I’m glad it’s here. It’s a great portrait and i’m not sure what other way there is to get it out there on the net.

I love the mom looking at her watch because they’re running late. She is my favorite. DBs are the greatest, the world would be dull w/o them.

What I noticed were all the randomly hung “decorations” on the wall…
Everyone else has a hobby, mom has a full-time gig as a taxi driver. Nicer.
I don’t understand why it’s sad. Why tie such a strong emotional to the process of making a simple observation? Why would the observer select words of dissidence rather than words that help share perspective and knowledge? Oop – gotta go – my coffee’s kickin’ in.
Aha! Those aren’t photos Dad is holding, they’re Dental x-rays. Great way to show his career as a Dentist without being pompous or bragging…I love this!

I like this photo! Yes, it is rather awkward, but not in an entirely bad way. There’s something oddly cute and unique about it.
This is kind of cool! It tells a story about their life together as a family and not in an awkward way, but I’m still glad it’s here!

It would have been awkward if say, the Easter Bunny had been popping out of a corner or something. I think I might have even liked that photo better.

I think this is adorable. Yes, they’re talking about the activities they’re all into, but in a funny way, not a self-important one, and everyone actually looks pretty natural. Plus the old photo showing how together they were before the last baby is genuinely self-deprecating. Funny and cute, not even slightly awkward.
Before the baby AND soccer junior. Ah, the good old days when there were only two kids and not three. Ooops, I mean four. Don’t forget the baby!

That’s sad that nobody here knows the works of Norman Rockwell. The guy became famous for painting staged scenes like this.
