The first time I saw this this the computer screen didn’t show the whole pic. I thought aww!! She is so cute, I love her watch, and then I scrolled down to comment and saw the man in the back. OMG!! First, what is she doing with him, and what photographer took this and got the idea to put him there!! Is so cute except for him in the back.

hahha hilarious! my dad wasn’t like that though; cause he didn’t flippin care enough to be on time to my one of my ultrasounds when my mom was pregnant with me. he completely missed it and showed up afterwards “/

I’m wondering if perhaps he’s not the father, but just some spectator that the photographer didn’t notice? Either way, this is one of my favourites.. the potential story possibilities around this photo are endless!

The is just trying to say he’ll always be in the picture for the little guy, albeit fuzzy and unreliable.
Nothing says “DAD” like a piece of wheat up his nose and him hiding in the bushes peeping on mom.

Ah,the ”Photoshoppers” are back from vacation.
I must admit, if you cut out the creepy dude in the back..I actually like this photo. The mom looks genuinely happy, is fully clothed (in nice clothes, too. nothing tacky), and the bokeh (blurred) focus of the flower field behind her adds a nice touch. It’s one of the best pregnancy shots I’ve seen.
Except for the guy. That just leaves me with a very confused and slightly disturbed feeling.
Seriously. Someone thought this was a good idea? The photog couldn’t have had her take a step or two forward to get him out of the shot? It really does look as if he’s just wandered mistakenly into the picture.

What could this photographer have been thinking? I think this goes to show that just because you a own a good camera, you don’t necessarily have the right to call yourself a “photographer.”
I’m sure the father didn’t think he was going to be the butt of all these jokes.

Usually my comments about these preggie pictures never appear with everyones because I tend to be a little bit harder on the potential artsey phartsey theme.
In fact I have started sending out my comments to friends and family when they dont appear. To let them know there are still people “out here’ laughing our butts off at the art/drama/silliness of women who want to show off their big bellies to the world.
