I’m loving it! Funniest picture ever.

  3. Lasko says:

Mom always said if you made that face it would stick… even if they have to use tape.

  4. SammyD says:

Okay, I usually just roll my eyes at all the people on here who yell ‘Photoshop’ right away, but I was curious as to how the baby was taped to the window.

I copied the pic to my computer and enlarged it…and now I do think it’s ‘shopped’. The tape on the left (baby’s right) makes an awkward L shape that never really goes around the baby. It wouldn’t hold the kid up if that’s what it really is.

Nonetheless, AWESOME pic whether they really taped the baby to the window or just wanted to!

  5. lalalala says:

    For the WIN!

  6. Lisa says:

HAHAHA! Like so many others, at first I thought, “Oh, isn’t this a sweet picture – what a cute idea. HOLY CRAP, is that baby duct-taped to the window?!?” I can’t stop laughing!!!

  7. Ginnintonix says:

I would never do that – I can’t imagine trying to get all of the tape marks off of the window.

  8. BigMomma says:

    That is awesome!

  9. Shawn says:

Dad: “we have 5 kids and, hey look, there are 5 windows! How cool would it be to put all the kids in the window and take a picture?”

Mom: “But honey, little Bobby can’t stand yet, how do we do that?”

    Dad: “Hmmmmmmmm, good point.”

    Mom: “Hmmmmmmm…….”

    Dad: “TAPE, we’ll use TAPE!!!”

Mom: “What a brilliant idea, why didn’t I think of that, I’ll run out to my truck and grab the duct tape, I think there’s a little left after fixin the bumper!”

    • Alan says:

Dad: “Why not tape him to the OUTSIDE of the window? Even if he does fall, the lawn should be soft enough”

Mom: “Mmmm, maybe not…..the people who see Awkward Family Photos will accuse us of being bad parents”

  10. Tara says:

Benefit of being the fifth born. This is very clever, obviously safely done and would make the most excellent Christmas card ever!

  11. Luvagoo says:

Is that…what I think it is?!

  12. Eric says:

Not awkward, funny, but not awkward.

  13. scott says:

now that’s funny, i don’t care who you are! psychologically interesting/funny thing is only the first born is looking to see if the baby has fallen.

    • LAMypie says:

No way dude, She is in TOTAL Vogue mode. That is all pose, no thought of the other kids. She just happens to have her face turned that way.

  14. Dennis says:

this is funny as it is but it would be doubly funny if we can see the look on that baby’s face.

they didn’t use clear tape because they intentionally wants everyone to notice that they TAPED the baby so he/she can keep up

    just sayin

  15. Gee says:

That’s easily one of the greatest family photos ever. Although I was thinking ‘how is the baby hovering in that bird costume?’ at first.

THEN realised he was actually taped to the window! LOL!

    • Liza says:

*snort* Well, your “bird costume” comment had me laughing than the intentionally funny ones. Hilarious. How is the baby hovering in that bird costume? PHOTOSHOP!

  16. cdean says:

    Oh. My. Lord.

  17. Rachel says:

Come on, haven’t you people ever taped a child to something before? Clear tape would NOT have worked.

It’s obvious that the more horizontal tape goes around the front of the child, right under the arms, just like an arm would be held around a baby. The more vertical tape is used to hold the baby tape to the window.

My guess is they were bored on a Sunday afternoon, Dad set it up and took the photo, and mom is yelling, “are you done yet?” to get the kid off. Unless it was me. Then I would be off camera, laughing at the expressions on the taped baby’s face. Those are the best.

  18. Missy says:

    What baby?

  19. LuLu says:

I like this picture a lot but the duct taped baby is a bit awkward.

  20. chelsea says:

    LMAO! That is great!

  21. Andrew says:

If you look closely you’ll see the sun glistening off the baby’s arm in from of the tape. The baby is in a carrier, and the carrier is taped to the window.

  22. CKH says:

OH yeah – those of us who had kids that don’t ever stop moving understand why this duct tape application is brilliant.

  23. Chewy says:

Duct tape fixes anything. Including a picture thats missing something: A baby.

  24. Angie says:

I started from left to right, so the baby really caught me by surprise. I was thinking, “this is actually pretty cool…what the?!”

  25. annette says:

you know, if you’re gonna tape your toddler to a window for a picture where you can’t necessarily make out faces or you know, who it is, use clear tape.

  26. MDodge says:

They seriously TAPED the baby to the window? Talk about REALLY wanting a pose! 🙂

  27. Renney says:

Thanks for this. I needed a good laugh.

  28. Elizabeth says:

It’s definitely not a doll – far too realistic – nor is it cruel and unusual punishment! All the people up in arms are probably the same parents that insist on hand-sanitizing everything instead of letting kids get sick like they are supposed to. Let some things go, people. This is hilarious and probably fun for the baby! Is this really so much worse than chucking a kid up into the air?

  29. Ashley says:

  30. skullkrusher says:

    I agree this is a great photo…. FUNNY…..

  31. kathy says:

i think this picture is clever!! yes, the baby is taped to the window, but if you look closely, you’ll notice that the duct tape is on his (or her) onesie, not directly on the skin…im sure the dad (or mom) is waiting there, just off camera to take the baby down as soon at the picture was taken, not like the baby is up there for hours! People, have a sense of humor

  32. gregorian says:

Obviously setup, but a good gag anyway.

  33. PugMom says:

I screamed when I saw this picture. S.C.R.E.A.M.E.D. with laughter. I could SO see our family doing a picture like that!!
Kudo’s to whoever came up with the idea! funny funny

  34. Mary Kay says:

They duct-taped their baby to a window.

  35. Tamara says:

    More bars in more places

  36. Kellynn says:

Seriously laughed out loud when i saw this! Great picture!

    • Mary Pat says:

yup- laughed out loud…my daughter’s first look at it and she said,”what is he holding guns for?”…

      • L Jynx says:

I thought it was guns for a split second too. Then when I realized how much more funny the picture is that it’s tape I laughed twice as hard (and how ridiculous guns would have been).

  37. John says:

That’s not awkward — that’s brilliant. Makes me want to have three more kids just so I can do one of those photos myself. (Well, almost.)

  38. Joel S says:

OK, that baby/doll taped to the window looks REALLY angry . . .like HULK angry, ready to bust out!

  39. Bruce says:

No, seriously officer, the baby taped HIMSELF to the window. We told him, “you’d better not do that!” But he wouldn’t listen!

  40. Millima says:

I wonder how the photographer felt about this.

  41. Vicky says:

Not so much awkward as AWESOME!!! Too funny! 🙂

  42. jitterbug says:

I didn’t think it was all that awkward till I saw THE BABY TAPED TO THE WINDOW??

  43. Cassie says:

I was all aw, that’s really sweet and holy cow is that kid TAPED TO THE WINDOW???!?!!? *sporfle*

  44. Kuria says:

And here I thought it was an AT&T Commercial: More bars in more places…

  45. Adrienne says:

    Ok. That is actually awesome!

  46. Jennifer says:

Look out! It’s the parent police!

  47. Penny D. says:

I hear as parents have more children, they get a little more casual about how they raise the younger ones. This… this is pretty casual.

  48. AiXeLsyD13 says:

They do make clear duct tape, you know.

    I’m just sayin’.

  49. Lauren says:

AWESOME! That’s the funniest thing I’ve ever seen! 😀

  50. veev1976 says:

Very cute…I didn’t notice the baby was TAPED to the window – at first I thought s/he was wearing a costume and was in the middle of jumping off the window sill!

    • Patty says:

I thought the exact same thing, too!

    • lalalala says:

OMG! It’s TAPE?! That is friggin ridiculous! … though, I guess it’s better than my original thought, which was, “Holy crap! They had a mutant gargoyle baby! at least they love it anyway…”
