This family figured since elephants don’t see so well, why should they.

Remember, as elephants always do, you don’t get to pick your parents…..
I’ve heard of the elephant man and elephantiasis but…
This is definitely one of my favorites. Instead of holding a bag, someone should be sitting on a trunk (sorry).
Is that one b or two?
I just can’t believe what a nice house they have, considering the Dad works for peanuts !!!
” I hate it when dad makes us go to the Republican convention”
this isn’t awkward. it’s cute!
But what became of the monk, the monk…? And what became of the monk?
I told my mom recently that I was “not a fan of Babar.” I didn’t mention that he and his family terrified me to death!
…tusk..tusk..you have no sense of adventure…
Awkward? I actually really enjoy this. Enormously, you might say.
Horton’s family before he killed then and started hearing who’s of whoville.
They must be going on vacation. They have brought their TRUNKS!
Ha ha ha ha! Good one, Bruce!
Oh my gosh, I recognize this family!! I grew up with the youngest elephant. They are doing great – his wife is expecting #2 in 16 more months! So excited for them. GREAT family!
They never forget- AND THEY NEVER FORGIVE
This is how you share those everyday tusks around the whole family.
Takes the phrase elephant in the room to a whole new level. Wow.
Awesome family! Even mom and dad are playing!
A more Republican family, you will never find.
To be honest, it wasn’t a very practical disguise for bank hold-ups.
Trick or treating dressed as Republicans. Now THAT’S frightening! (jk)
The clothes are all wrong. Where’s the green suit on Babar? Celeste and Flor should have pink dresses and Pom/Alexander needs a white t-shirt and blue shorts.
But the masks themselves are incredible for d.i.y.
The best thing about Elephants? They never forget.
Is this a scene from a David Lynch movie?
“I can’t shake this feeling that the Smiths are Republicans.”
Oh look, it’s Babar and his family dressed up for Halloween!
The Elephant Man and his family, very cute
This is something those kids are going to remember.
This looks like the opening scene to a horror movie!
It’s Christmas at Grandma’s again!
where is Sharon Lois and bram?
I am SO GLAD someone else was thinking this, too!
Skinna – marink -a dinky dink
Skinna- marink a doo – I -Love-You!
1 elephant went out to play, upon a spider’s web one day.
He had such enormous fun that he called for another elephant to come. Two elephants …
LoL, wheres anthony hopkins?
yeah I go with trick or treating
they are dressed as Bar Bar and Family …childrens book…good attempt
Why is the father elephant holding a hat while wearing a crown?
He’s holding the child elephant’s ear, not a hat.
That’s an ear…
love that dad’s holding lil’ babar by the ear tenderly!!! this is so cute!
and there’s nothing like reading the obituaries then trick-or-treating…
Is the father elephant disciplining the youngest by twisting his ear?
I love it. My kids are huge fans of Babar and they would get the biggest kick out of this for Halloween.
I am not an animal! Wait, OK, I guess I am!
I don’t think this looks that awkward at all. I like this, a family dressed up as elephants together, looks like they are having good times.
Yes…..a VERY good time. So much fun! Woopee!
The awkwardness comes from the placement of the eye holes in the children’s elephant heads. They have one eye hole directly in line with the trunk and the other is off to one side. No way you can wear that head and see with both eyes. Almost looks like they were made for cyclops children.
A unique way of addressing the “elephant in the room.”
Love it! I’d actually like to know how they’re made. 🙂
me too! Love it!!
Mom you did a great job!
Looks like papier-mâché covered in felt.
This is really cute! Great family halloween costumes.
I am guessing that this is a family Trick-or-Treat Halloween outing, given the kid on the left looks like he may be holding a bag of candy.
Nope it’s how they dress for church each Sunday. 🙂
Or to rob a bank! Fun family activities! But the dad looks like that’s his streaker outfit, what with the trenchcoat and all
There’s something here that we don’t talk about.
Actually about four of them.
I wail and Ganesh my teeth at this awkwardness.
Great… juice all over my keyboard!
Oooh! That is one family that has no excuse for forgetting anniversaries or birthdays – cos elephants don’t forget!
