The backbone of this family is an actual backbone.

Is that Dexter?
Sub-Zero eventually retired from fighting and settled down with a family. He still liked to pull out the old trophies and brag from time to time though.
Sorry – epic FAIL!
Wow forget the picture, “H” when is your bio coming out? and who stars as your dad in the movie?
Even after his death, Fido is start a part of the family’s Christmas magic!
Mum, Dad and their three beautiful children, C3, C5 and little C7
OMG! I HAVE to know the story behind this photo!
Dad insisted that Grandma be in the family portrait.
Being that Dad and Mom are both Chiropractors…at least their family is well adjusted 🙂
believe it or not… this was lil’ Hannibal’s idea… he’s the one with the evil look… searching for the next victim… you know what they say… the family who eats human being together…
Everybody sing….the neck bones connected to the collar bone, the collar bones connected to the shoulder bone…the shoulder bones connected to the …. 🙂
As I looked at this one again, for a moment, I thought…it kind of looks like a crossbow…
Oh, no you didn’t!
The baby looks like a mad scientist!
Dad insisted they include dear, old, dead Fluffy in the family photo, no matter what.
Where are their eyebrows?
ZOMBIE FAMILY!! they like a bit of backbone to go with Braaaains!
Dad looks like one of the geico cavemen, so maybe this is an ancestor?
I know this family personally. Both parents are chiropractors. The photo was used as the business card for the chiropractic practice. The girl in the green has cerebral palsy and is in the process of getting her PhD in math. The middle girl has her masters degree in piano performance and is a tremendous pianist. The little boy is now in college. The parents are divorced and have gotten remarried.
The wife is still a practicing chiropractor. I’m not sure what the husband is currently doing. They have a fourth child who is a missionary.
Weird how fast they grow up, and I don’t even know them. The picture doesn’t look old enough for the kids to have grown up and gone to college and acquired careers of their own.
The Predator, having taken human form to fool us all, gets married and raises a normal family. But when his beautiful wife suggests they have a family portrait, the Predator can not withstand the urge to have one of his hidden for years trophy’s displayed for the first time. After this shot was taken the wife becomes suspicious and the family is never seen again.
Chiropractics: “so easy a caveman can do it”
…family night at Tony Roma’s.
missing the bibs covered in bbq sauce. Sheesh, I’m glad the loved ones of the deceased are unaware his/her spine is on AFF being referred to as dinner.
As the pilot of the biplane said to Indiana Jones: “Show a little backbone!!”
This picture made me think of the “Klopek” family that lived next door to Tom Hanks in the movie “The ‘Burbs” – hilarious
Aren’t these the people that live next door to Tom Hanks in the movie “The ‘Burbs”?
I am thinking that these three children are way to close in age to all be in the same family. Can anyone shed some light on this?
they look like 6 months, 2 and 3(4?) years old.
looks like “Mom” slid into the pic at the last minute
Dad has the creepy look of a chiropractor. I can see this displayed prominently in the waiting room next to a display case of natural herbal remedy jars.
‘scary’ how comfortable those kids are around skeletal remains. He’s not a chiropractor, he’s a forensic scientist. Also, is it just me, or does that couple look like siblings?
The family that chiropracts together……
I got nothin’
Have creepy picture forever.
There will be no livin this one down when the future spouces see it.
Did the family bring it, or was it in the photographer’s prop box?
what a creepy thought!
Isn’t that Mary Gross?
Dexter Morgan & family!
See! Dad’s NOT a spineless wimp!
the only way Grandma could be included in the portrait . . .
That’s exactly what I was thinking!!!
ha ha… oh dear.
Now that is FUNNY!!
I thought that too. Grandma’s plan to stay out of the family photo backfired.
The kid with the bow tie looks like he’s thinking, “I’m coming after your spine next, photo boy!”
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA! Oh goodness! I really just laughed out loud at that. Thank you!
Thank god Dad’s not an OB-GYN.
For the win!
amen to that!!! hahaha!!!
I don’t know… he has a pretty deft grip on that pelvis!
Best comment of the day! Two thumbs up!!!
Wow!! me too!
Best Comment! EVER!
Wow. I love this family. The little green girl is playing that skeleton like she’s Elton John. I like that.
They’re going to use the tibia as a teether for the baby.
Bet he is a chiropractor
that’s exactly what I thought!!
that is what I was thinking…maybe the picture was used for an advertisement??
“At Acme Chiro,we’ll see you back sometime”
or a proctologist
I’m guessing Mom and Dad are both chiropractors… or they’re a family of canibals. Either way, perfectly reasonable pose. in a professional portrait studio. that probably is run by peoOPLEEEE!! YUMYUMYUMY*UMYUIMYUM
I think it would have been funny if they had rubbed some baby food on the spinal column and let the baby have at it.
Both chiropractors. The Dad is a piece of work. My mom is amazing though. As to why on earth she allowed this photo is beyond me.
Soylent backbone… it’s people! It’s people!
Gotta be, we are the only ones who would do such a weird thing
I think this belongs on the Awkward Family Dead Pets site!
Ha!! I was wondering if that used to be “fluffy” and they wanted one last family pic together…
OH, WOW, WINNER!! Did I LOL? Yes, until tears came to my eyes.
The gatorbone connected to the family bone…
The family bone connected to the awkward bone…
The awkward bone connected to the “no way” bone…
Now hear the word of the nerm…
“dem bones, dem bones…” lol
These must be aliens morphed to look like a typical american family. What kind of backbone do you think that is? What else do you you think they might keep out on display at their hours bet it isn’t Hummels. This is one photo I wish I had an explanation for and why would the Mom go along with this.
I’m the girl in the middle. Weird to see this on here. I don’t even know where to begin to explain. My biological father is a piece of work. Mom got out of there about two years later. Thank goodness. That man is no longer a practicing chiropractor either. But my mom is. And she’s pretty much amazing.
H: Thanks for sharing your story. Bio dad creeped me out a little with his finger placement securely in the pelvis; guess your description of him confirms my unease.
At least you had the good grace to look like you knew this was awkward!
Isn’t that the woman from the TED-speak? She studies brains…
Dad looks like a caveman with a nice haircut and a suit.
But, nice haircut? I guess you did have to couch that in a compliment. Good Show, CDpicturelooker.
so easy even a caveman can do it!
Ha Ha all of you!
Looks like someone enjoys bringing their work home with them!
funny. love it.
They are all of one accord (or spinal cord)
The girl in green is enjoying it a bit too much.
So true! This pic needs a “where are they now” follow-up.
Running a family chiropractic practice, of course!
At first I thought it was part of the baby… ~shudders~
Can’t stop giggling at your first thought…
I can’t either *snicker*
