Awkward Family Vacation Photo Finalists

Well, we asked to send in your awkward family vacation photos and you delivered a record number of submissions. Now Virgin America & AFP have narrowed it down to the top 20 finalists and it’s up to you to decide which awkward family gets the big prize.
Check out the top twenty photos in the Awkward Family Vacation Photo Contest and vote for your favorite by 11:59pm PST on October 13th. The one with the most votes will score a less awkward family vacation: FOUR ROUND-TRIP TICKETS TO ANYWHERE VIRGIN AMERICA FLIES. Vote for as many photos as you like and as many times as you want to. Just by voting, you’ll receive 33.3% off your next family booking (parties of 3-6 people) to or from Orlando (restrictions, taxes, and fees apply).

My first thought was that they are holding her like a huge fish they just caught.
Then it struck me – Can you imagine your mom wearing a bathing suit cut that high up on the hips? It must be a thong in the back! And when I was about that girl’s age (in back), I had a bathing suit in yellow that was almost identical to the white one she’s wearing, and my mom forbade me to wear it in public. I definitely cannot relate to this family!

Big fish finally caught
Okay, what’s the weird appendage between daughter and son? It’s not mom’s arm, cause her finger is on daughter’s shoulder, and it’s crooked too strangely to be daughter’s left arm. And son looks like he has waaaay too many fingers. Maybe he has a tail as well and that’s what the thing is? This is bugging me more than it needs to be!
That’s the daughter’s arm on the back of the brother. She only has her right arm under the mother, holding her. Dad and brother are doing the heavy lifting.

Yeah isn’t the other obvious awkwardness all her though? I would never wear a swimsuit that sexy on a family vacation…. (also the dad is kinda clawing up in mom’s armpit haha)
