the cat is staring into my SOUL!

  3. Gabby says:

They have the same expression Ha

  4. Andrea says:

Is she looking straight ahead or to the right? I can’t tell.

  5. angie says:

I had a cat just like this named Kane. He ran away twice. I miss that cat. sigh…….

  6. Michele says:

That cat looks like he’s ready to rip out the photographer’s throat.

This website has taught me that adults + their pets + professional photograph = awkwardness. The only cute professional photos of pets are when they are with kids. Maybe an entire family with the pets would be OK, but I’ve seen some scary ones of those, too, so I am sticking with my No Adults and Pets Rule.

You’re right, it’s not you, it’s me. I think she looks terrified as she sits there dressed to the nines gazing off into the suncat with a devil cat on her lap. But you think that’s perfectly normal, so silly me.

    • Nancy says:

How is she dressed to the nines? She is wearing a blouse and pants (or a skirt, I can’t tell). She looks pretty normal. Lots of people have portraits of their pets. It’s not that unusual. I just don’t get it.

  9. Ducky says:

Well, I don’t think she quite qualifys as a “Crazy Cat Lady” with just one cat, but why is the kitty stareing at the camera and the lady off in la-la land?

  10. Harry says:

What a great picture. How dare you say this woman is crazy.

  11. Julie says:

Ah, “powermuffin”, (if that is your real name), YES, taking even ONE of your cats to a professional photographer’s studio absolutely makes you a crazy cat lady!

  12. Nancy says:

I don’t get it. Why is this awkward?

  13. powermuffin says:

Now even one cat makes you a crazy cat lady? This pic isn’t even awkward, it’s a pretty lady with her cute cat.
