This is the type of photo I like to see instead of those that get mostly comments of ‘that’s not awkward’. We may not know what’s going on, but there’s fun guessing.

Dang, I saw this last night and had no idea what it was (fake but? collostamy bag?) so I came back this morning hoping to find an explanation… oh well!
My main concern is that this website is perpetuating the Wrath of Gnomes. Let me say this just once GNOMES ARE EVIL.
They steel keys, socks, small bags and satchels. And I’m am willing to bet that this “gnome bus” is nothing but a get away vehicle from some horrific thievery!!! Perhaps the pants of said young lady. This is outrageous. DO NOT let them into your garden! Or your house. You’ll be sorry. They are already taking over media outlets (I submit “Travelocity” as an example)
In the movie “Something’s Got To Give,” Jack Nicholson wanders around a hospital in a gown with his butt hanging out. Later in the movie, Diane Keaton writes a play where a chorus line of men do a dance wearing hospital gowns and big fake butts. Maybe that was the inspiration for the butt costume?
I’d love to know the inspiration for the Gnome Bus.
Maybe the “Gnome” bus is a PC take on the “Short” bus? That is all I can come up with :-/
So am I seeing this correctly….everyone keeps calling this a hospital gown and possibly she is an escaped patient……but isnt the gown she is wearing the one the doctors or lab techs wear to keep a mess off of them, not the patients. The patient gowns are short sleeve cloth with hideous patterns.

I do think the girl has only two feet. But I don’t understand the nature or shape of the fake butt. I thought that peachy thing was some sack, like a colostomy bag or hot water bottle or something. I assume her real butt is in the dark underwear below the shiny pantyhose? It doesn’t make any sense because if your costume involved a prosthetic butt over your real butt, WHY wouldn’t you wear nude-covered underwear to conceal the real butt?!

It’s actually a paper gown that nurses and doctors wear in clean areas.
I work for a health insurance company and last year during a campaign to get people to have colonoscopies, they bought these costumes. They come like that, the hospital gown with the fake butt and the stockings. It was a little scary on some of the larger men but about 15 of them wore these. Some thought it was offensive, others thought it was hilarious. Just thought I would let you know it came like that.
