i happen to know the family, and this was a halloween costume for a halloween party. They went as the cast from “ELF”
Wondering if the elf in the blue is upset because he didn’t win the draw to get dressed as Santa a be able to hide his face with that hair and beard.
Well. They’re obviously hardcore NPR fans.
I think dad invoked the sanity clause to get out of the picture.

I’m pretty sure that green costume he’s wearing IS the Elf costume from the movie. It definitely looks just like it, yellow tights/curly hair and everything.

I am noticing in the Santa/elf picture that there is no man in the picture. This was def all mom’s idea.
