This isnt awkward…Pittsburgh fans are always standing by their team, that’s how Hines won Dancing With The Stars! I love crazy fans, they rock! Go Steelers!
P.s. The Terrible Towel was our idea, well Wonderful Myron Cope’s idea

  2. Kelly says:

Steeler nation! Family photos like this are not at all uncommon in western pennsylvania

  3. Steelers Fan In Packerland says:

I can only wish that my parents were this cool.

  4. MiLo206 says:

I hope they got the memo that the Steelers LOST! So the caption should read: We are the losers!

    • Chad says:

You do realize the Steelers had a better year than the 30 other teams that didn’t make the Super Bowl, right? That, combined with the fact that Pittsburgh has the most division championships in the AFC (20), the most AFC Championships (8) and the most Super Bowl wins in the NFL (6), pretty much makes them winners.

  5. Dee says:

    Bless their hearts 😉

  6. justme says:

Somebody missed Marnie’s super bowl party instruction letter, she CLEARLY stated it was regulation sized footballs only!

Oooooh the dirty look they must have gotten!

  7. justme says:

    This is Earl’s “earnest face”.

And yes, I’m sure his name must be Earl….my brain won’t have it any other way. No offense all you real Earls.

  8. Dee says:

    I’m sorry… sorry….Please accept my apology.

  9. Snowrider says:

    ARRRRRGH! “What’s in your wallet?!”

    • justme says:

      Hah! Love it!

      • Luna says:

You look great in short hair! I get the urge every couple of years to go short then hate my life for like a year. I just don’t have the frautees for it. My faves are Feb, May (cute shot) and now. You look great as a blonde and a redhead. It’s no fair!

  10. d.Lee is me! says:

Ya gotta give em credit for being good sports and sending it in here for all our entertainment!

  11. Anne says:

  12. Allen says:

“It’s okay, Dear… it’s not the size of the football that counts…”

  13. Justin UK says:

That is a normal size football. Those dudes are about 9 foot tall and that is a beard you could hide a baby ostrich in.

  14. Timinnewton says:

How do we know that is a pee-wee sized ball. Maybe they are just both 9 foot tall.

  15. Treb says:

The compromise… Linen curtians, Steel G-Strings. Love knows no bounds.

  16. TGIF says:

    GO PACKERS!!!!!!!!

  17. Anna says:

Who says it’s a pee-wee sized ball, maybe they are just huge?

  18. LilyBear says:

hahaha! make that *Foul* sorry guys.

  19. LilyBear says:

I’m throwing a flag on this one. Personal fowl #39 and #51 of the black team. 15 yard penalty. Automatic 1st down.

  20. Malcolm says:

No one on the current Steeler roster wears either #39 or #57. I guess these folks got cut.

  21. LuLu says:

They are cuddling that ball like a newborn baby.

  22. PaulaNancy says:

“You always blink! Whatever you do, Darryl, don’t blink!”

  23. Suzy says:

If they are from Pittsburgh, it’s BOTH 🙂

  24. Becky says:

This isn’t awkward!? It’s awesome! Go Steelers!

  25. Stacy says:

At least they are rooting for the right team….

  26. Phrankeh says:

hahahaha god thats a great beard!!!!!

  27. Megan says:

I love how they’re cradling the ball like it’s their love-child.

  28. Mel says:

I’m a cop In Dallas and I’ve been dealing with people like this for days. HELP ME!

    • Don says:

I feel your pain. I work in GP. Worked a concert at Verizon tonight. Guy wearing a Steeler jersey walks up and tells me ” This weather is nothing. This is balmy to us back home.” He then proceeds to walk by me and slips on a patch of ice in the parking lot. I help him up, smile, and tell him “we usually walk around the ice patches around here.”

    • Scott says:

      Bless your heart! LOL

    • irony says:

I guess that’s why Dallas can’t handle the Super Bowl. You guys should have been focusing on Texans who can’t drive on ice.

      • Mel says:

Thanks Troll. I hope you live in Detroit. Hahahahaha.

        • Delia says:

Hey, I live in Detroit, and we all aren’t trolls! My brother, who lives in Forth Worth, says it does snow down there sometimes, but just sometimes, and of course southerners aren’t used to driving on ice, just like you won’t find palm trees in Michigan except in some of our shopping malls.

And, it will be a snowy and icy day in Hades before the Lions ever get to the Super Bowl, unfortunately.

      • Don says:

That’s the truth. Trust me “irony” we try every time the snow and ice comes through. Though today we saw something we’ve never seen, Sunny skies and the streets are still wet. We finally figured out it was all the tears from the Steeler fans as they drove back home. Go figure.

        • thelocket says:

HA! Did it take you all day to think of that little gem? Pretty sure you read it on a bathroom wall. It was tears of happiness to be away from jerks that feel the need to kick people after a loss. Yeah, we cried all the way back home to our 6 trophies. We get it. We lost. It was a good game. There is always next year. Steelers fans don’t cry; we know it is only a matter of time for that #7 trophy!

        • Gerard says:

You’re so funny! You certainly weren’t kddniig on the many changes. I should take a lesson from you … I’ve had the same hair, mmmm, for 4 years? Well, no 32 years – aside from that dreadful spiral perm in the 7th grade!

  29. T says:

I’ll bet their trailer is all black n yellow and next to their confederate flag is a Steelers flag. GO BEARS!!!

    • Brian says:

I bet their home is beautiful and an American flag proudly waves in their front yard. Go Bears? They didn’t make it this year. Maybe your former community organizer jinxed them. We’ll that and a soft QB.

    • powermuffin says:

Pittsburgh is a northern city, so you are showing ignorance by playing the old “southern people are slovenly and racist” card. These Steelers fans look like friendly and generous people and darn it, they love that ball!

      Go 49ers!!! (Some day, eventually.)

    • steelersfan says:

Ignorant comment. Pennsylvania was a union state, fool.

  30. Jill says:

I wonder why they aren’t looking at the same camera…

  31. Sharon says:

OMG – you just can’t make up this stuff?????????? They say that the truth is stranger than fiction.

I wonder if this is their engagement or wedding photo?
