Not limited to Jersey or Texas – my daughter wore her hair like that in the 80′s. We couldn’t go anywhere without waiting for the 16 year old to finish puffing up her hair. Everything in the bathroom stayed covered with a layer of heavy hair spray. (Her daddy also had the “news anchor” hair style going and used just as much hair spray!)
Come on everyone – in a word to remember > “Fabulous” ! I was born a Ken barby doll of the 80s in high school – do you remember or know how much time and effort it took every morning to style and blow that out to perfection? Go “Con Aire” Hair dryers and yes, Hairspray! The only reason I still have one is to dry my two dogs (Yorkie mix) and comb them out…for the “fluff” factor. (smile) Crew cut myself now – but I remember the day’s of the “Camero Girls”…vroom-vroom – BIG hair was a “requirement” of the social meeting. At least we looked better than the pierced “everything”, tatood all over and the but crack showing now a days. Yes – I did work the George Michael hair too – when I had it.
No need to worry Cynthia born& raised in Jersey. Those are some Jersey hair doos if I ever seen one. Must admit if I put my high school pic out, OHHHHH Lord what they would say…
