  1. Gogit says:

The in-laws sent this pic as yet another not-so-subtle hint they’d like some grandkids to play with all these toys they’ve bought!

  2. kathy says:

WTF !!!!! Don’t know what to say….. What I really want to know is how many of these pictures did they order??

  3. mattbusa says:

Is that the same guy from the night at the museum pic? Or his brother, not sure

  4. Zooky says:

    We Heart Cuddling. Real Bad.

  5. anon says:

i wish i knew more everybody… ive just had them as customers a few times, i dont really know these two. not sure what is up with the cookies really. i actually just noticed the party hats; they were too washed out against the backdrop. maybe it was one of the bears’ birthday? anyone’s guess is as good as mine… this scene is just as strange as the others on AFP.

  6. Carol says:

What IS that on his head??? A party hat? That blows my theory that maybe – MAYBE? they were playing at being Mr. and Mrs Claus, eating the cookies left over from Christmas. But that does nothing to explain the stuffed bears. Or the wagon. Or…..*shrugs*…never mind.

  7. Dazza says:

Happy my as&. He looks like he is under duress to have this photo taken. If there was a thought bubble for him it would be “hurry up and take the freaking photo.”

  8. babytoes says:

Um…….wow. Even with the backstory, it’s weird

  9. anon says:

i am completely serious (just rather not use my name, lest someone from work identify me). i’m not sure if the bears came before or after they met. maybe they did a lot of drugs, maybe they lost a child (they treat the bear dining with them as a child to feed). That’s a lot of maybes, wish i had more answers.

side note: also unsure if they are true cubs fans, we are several states away from chicago, even though that doesn’t always matter i know. maybe they thought the cub-bear connection was cute/fitting?

  10. AC says:

Are we sure there’s not a child or pet in there somewhere? ET??? keep looking…

  11. Jenny says:

This is so beyond bizarre…I can’t figure out what they were thinking when they came up with the concept for this shoot…

  12. CardinalsFan says:

They would be Cubs fans. -____-

  13. d.Lee says:

Anon… tell me that you are not serious… this is beyond weird.

  14. anon says:

I don’t know who submitted this, but I’ve waited on this couple at the restaurant where I work! When I got to the homepage and could only see the dude’s head, I was really worried about scrolling down, but was relieved to see that they are clothed. They are a nice couple, but verrry strange. They have a bear with them at the table usually, and will order it some food and place it in front of the bear. Not sure how these two found each other….

    • JimD says:

This gives us some good insight into these two.
Plus it tells me that there really is someone out there for everyone.

    • steph says:

I LOVE your side note on this couple…..it explains a lot. As to how they found each other…..when you have that much in common(quirks), it’s inevitable.

    • Mrs Alda says:

I’m wondering which one eats the bear’s food when the other leaves the table, to keep up the illusion.

    • Maureen says:

Well I guess the important thing is they DID find each other. They are clearly happy together.

  15. For the love of... says:

Ok. Now I am hungry for those vanilla finger cookies. Thanks a lot.

  16. JerseyPam says:

This is disturbing…”we have cookies and teddy bears and party hats and a wagon.” It’s so sicky sweet I want to toss my cookies.

  17. fireflight says:

    GAAA! I want my mommy!!!

  18. Miffy says:

On their first date, he brought her a stuffed bear and they ate vanilla cookies???

    Anyone have the back story?

  19. Carol Isbell says:

What’s in those cookies? You sure they aren’t brownies?

  20. Stacy says:

Now I bet the hippo feels out of place.

  21. TGIF says:

    Bite me.

  22. Pipergirl says:

These two are a bear short of the full menagerie.

  23. Pipergirl says:

    Thank God they’re clothed!

  24. Julie YARBROUGH says:

What do you expect from Cubs fans, they like some hopeless and just plain weird stuff…I love the Teddy Henson comment, I thought something along those same lines… : )

  25. Mike says:

    Typical Cubs fans.

  26. Jeff says:

The bear on the left is blue because he thought that by holding his breath, he’d pass out and not have to witness the utter awkwardness of this picture. Dream on, little bear.

  27. Dan B says:

Perhaps those cookies are only half-baked!

  28. cps says:

That’s some scary stuff! Beyond awkward!

  29. Chloe says:

    I love it so much

  30. Erin says:

Is there some kind of alternate universe where this picture makes sense?

  31. Janie says:

If they have indeed found their cookies, it’s just bearly.

  32. sea22 says:

    Is this picture?
    A. Disturbing
    B. Scary
    C. Awkward
    D. All the above
that’s right it is “D”! all the above, wow!

  33. blinker says:

    I . . . don’t understand.

  34. Meafind says:

Too bad that, to do so, they had to loose their effin’ marbles!

  35. Rick says:

Jim Henson’s older brother – Teddy Henson

  36. petros says:

If they could have fir their 72 cats in the picture, it would be perfect.

  37. MikeHunt says:

This is what Santa makes you do if he catches you u plate at night….
