I don’t think this is awkward at all if you use a bit of imagination. Can’t you see the family gathering by the pool and someone pushes someone else in then a few others get shoved in and before you know it most of the family is in the pool….then the rest decide, what the heck, let’s wade in and take a picture together. If you notice only a few don’t have their hair wet (like grandma…and grandpa…if he had hair!).
That is exactly what I thought!! Great minds think alike!
Is that Vin Diesel on the left, behind John McCain?
WIN!
That grandpa is winking like he is excited about everyone getting out
Yikes….I think the real awkward moment was when everyone got out!
I hope everyone brought some dry clothes for the ride home.
Ok, who had baked beans for lunch?
Grandmother insisted that her hair stay perfectly dry at any cost – even if that meant she would only be baptized from the shoulders down.
That’s not as creepy as some of the other family photos here – compared to them this looks almost normal.
Disappointed the toad was cropped out. I’d like to see more of the toad.
White shirts in a pool? Those women are either very trusting of the photographer or very oblivious…
Even the lion on the wall is smiling.
Swim Buddies?
And the ladies’ hair looked oh, so elegant!
Wet and Cool. Well, wet, anyway. But, still, it looks like fun!
that’s actually a cute picture
My thought exactly…..very cute
Getting baptized in front of that creepy lion gargoyle is not my idea of a good time.
It must have been awkward getting out.
wouldn’t bathing suits have made more sense?
Not for a Baptism. You wear swin suits when you swim. If you are being Baptised, you wear street clothes or perhaps a robe if the church uses them.
And Jesus said let they be cleand in the hot tub of the Lord…
looks like they got baptized together
Ok, this is creepy. Someone submitted this without my knowledge. It’s a picture of a baptism at one of our parishioners’ home, lol.
I’m a bit taken back by the fact that the explanation of this “baptism” is being reported by somebody named “savy devil” . . . .
what he said
yeap!
Have to agree.
I have never been to a church where they didn’t tell the women NOT to wear white for a baptism. That’s what’s creepy. Creepy church.
Is that John McCain?
How funny, that’s the first thing I thought as well!
looks like a good old fashend Southern Baptist baptism to me
Amen to that, Brother!!
