Being photographed with this pop is more daring than anything Evel Knievel ever did.

You can bet this kid,now a man,has been copping it from his siblings for 30 yrs for this pic.My sister was the baby model for a babywear spread in our local mag in 1963,and we STILL give her grief for the pic where she has a fist full of soggy biscuit -and it’s nowhere as bad as this.
Steady son! That’s how I started.
Michael Cera – you were a goofy kid.
“It’s a ROCKET SHIP!!”
I should point out that the kid is attempting to eat the plastic mold itself, not a popsicle. Suddenly, the goofy expression makes more sense.
LOL thanks for pointing that out! it reframes the whole experience.
haha! this is now funny on a whole different level!
Hmmm. Bad hair…goofy smile…long cylinder-shaped object in the mouth.
Is Justin Bieber a time traveler??
you forgot unnatural helmet shaped hair
Does anyone else think the kid looks like Norman Bates?
Ice cream lobotomy?
The kid’s face is priceless!! I can’t stop laughing!! This made my day.
Best ad ever! By far.
Ahh, memories. Somewhere in a family photo album is a picture of me and my two brothers, posing in front of the big, ornate gates in front of Evel Knievel’s palatial estate in glorious Butte, Montana. The left gate had/has a big, scrolly E, and the right one, a big, scrolly K, natch. It was quite the destination for redneck, hick tourists like us, yeah, buddy!
This is exactly the type of ad that makes people want desperately to buy a product.
I agree. I want a sky-sicle now!!!!
Hahaha holy crap! Someone has to find out what happened to this kid. Guarantee he regretted this ad, and desperately sought a mild-mannered life as an adult simply hoping people would simply forget this ever happened. It worked… until today. Ah, the power of the internet… 🙂
Also, did someone ever make an “unofficial” Evel pop? The packaging is proud of being the official one.
HAHAHAHHAHAHAAAA THAT IS AMAZINGGGG!
Um, I think his name is Evel, not Evil.
Best ad ever.
The boy’s expression makes it that much worse.
But please correct “Evel.” The spelling is right there.
It is Evel. Look at the ad and you’ll see it right there.
The caption had said “Evil” before. It’s corrected now.
Ah…okay. Didn’t see it previously. Thank you for explaining.
Even the kid has that look on his face. “You want me to do WHAT?!”
OMG!!! Funniest thing ever!
