Since even the caption says wedding im going to say that it is indeed a wedding. I know plenty of girls that in their late 20s look in their teens. At 28 i still get asked how old I am and no one ever believes im over 20
The woman’s name is Bobbi Bauer according to her H.S. friend, Amy M, who has now posted a few times in this thread that Bobbi was in fact the bride and the husband was in fact much older than Bobbi’s 20-22 years at the time.
Maybe we could ask Annabelle (the submitter) what we are all dying to know? Annabelle, you out there? We all want to know! Tell us WHO does that girl’s hair?!
I take it then, that you are not from southern California, where quincenerias are quite popular. Actually, quincenerias are popular, wherever you find a large population of people who speak Spanish.
I love how the foreground trees frame there bodies so well! LOL
If only the man had moved a little to his left… or perhaps they both moved to their left just a tad, the framing would have been absolutely perfect!
She was just crowned Miss Maple (or Oak or whatever those trees are), and her platform is rehabilitation of youthful offenders. Her father’s taking her to juvenile hall for a speaking engagement.
If this IS a wedding, he’s gotta be Father of the Bride or something….. age difference is too much! Although, either way, she looks way too young to be anyone’s bride….
I’m with the others. This is so NOT a wedding picture. It’s a girl and her daddy.
Either way though, this is an odd photo. The photographer could have avoided getting the barbed wire fence in the shot. LOL
I had a group photo for dance school that has a clear shot of the ceiling. I know there were 15 people in the Ballet class, and they had to zoom out to get the whole group in the photo, but still…
And this is definitely not a wedding. Sorry to sound like a broken record.

All she told her parents was that she was going to prom with a senior…
This is definitely a QuinceaƱera, you ignorant people!
Ignorant? I think it’s safe to say we just don’t give a crap.

You can stop wondering now. You’re welcome.
Has their age difference changed? You said “At the time” the groom was 20-22 years older…
I believe she meant Bobbi, the bride, was 20-22 at the time of the wedding. No way!
I hope to Jesus that is not the bride! She can’t be older than 13/14.
Maybe we could ask Annabelle (the submitter) what we are all dying to know? Annabelle, you out there? We all want to know! Tell us WHO does that girl’s hair?!
The placement of his hands ob her waist say that he is not her dad. Or I would at least hope not.
So his hand is on her waist. I don’t see how that is inappropriate if he’s her dad.
My guess is she was a bridesmaid in his wedding.
Thank you folks – I have never in my life seen or heard the word “quinceanera”. Now to work it into a Scrabble game lol.
I take it then, that you are not from southern California, where quincenerias are quite popular. Actually, quincenerias are popular, wherever you find a large population of people who speak Spanish.
A quinceanera is the celebration that Hispanic people have when a girl turns fifteen, which is the age this girl looks like in the picture.
I love how the foreground trees frame there bodies so well! LOL
If only the man had moved a little to his left… or perhaps they both moved to their left just a tad, the framing would have been absolutely perfect!
She captured his heart. He was just captured.
I’m guessing she was voted Prom Queen, hence the crown and the flowers?
She was just crowned Miss Maple (or Oak or whatever those trees are), and her platform is rehabilitation of youthful offenders. Her father’s taking her to juvenile hall for a speaking engagement.
Those are just nasty grapevines, not even a tree. They grow like weeds.
It has to be father and daughter. Maybe quinceneria or sweet sixteen?
He thought marrying the warden’s daughter would work in his favor at his parole hearing.
FTW!
Looks like a prom picture to me. Or quinceanera maybe.
But the barbed wire does add an interesting touch, regardless.
could be a father daughter dance…. or one of those i will remain pure till marriage dances…. or debutante ball….
@Alan: “Barb Dwyer”! ROFL, good one!!
Her name is Barb Dwyer.
WIN! I actually googled “Barb Dwyer” to see what you were talking about…DUH….LOL
No, her name is Bobbi Bauer. I went to school with her.
Amy. it’s a joke. Barb Dwyer is a play on the words Barbed Wired. Say it out loud.
If this IS a wedding, he’s gotta be Father of the Bride or something….. age difference is too much! Although, either way, she looks way too young to be anyone’s bride….
And if this a Prom pic, why is Daddy dressed up??
My thoughts too! She is too young to be a bride, he is too old to be a prom date.
I think she’s a bridesmaid or flower girl at his wedding.
Nope, that’s her husband. He’s much older. I went to school with her. She was the bride.
Hmmm.. can’t tell from the angle on the barbed wire whether the fence is keeping them in, or keeping them out! I vote for prom-type function, too.
Sorry, not a wedding, my guess is prom or debutante launch.
Assuming it IS a wedding, well, why would it be any different from any other? This barbed wire fence looks lower than it is for most marriages!!
I’m with the others. This is so NOT a wedding picture. It’s a girl and her daddy.

This is a wedding photo.
I’m still shocked. How old is she?
…. if they are in fact the two getting married. Weird.
Are you sure this is a wedding and not a cottilion? That dude looks old enough to be her dad.
Hmmm…are you sure they are married? Looks more like a quinceneara (sp?) outfit to me, and he looks like he could be her Daddy.
Is this really a wedding picture? She looks 12.
She was about 22-23 years old here.
Wow. And I thought I looked really young.
And she looks awfully young…. that’s awkward!
Looked like a prom pic to me…
