She has a whole lot of awesome going on. I think the technically accurate phrase is “She’s a goddess.” And the dress and shoes are working for her, and they are definitely working for me.
She looks freakin’ hot.
I’ll drink to that. And from it.
Its pretty corny, ergo its awkward.

Just for a second there I thought this was a ‘then & now’ follow up to Honey I Shrink The Kids…

It probably FEELS a bit awkward to have your pic taken with your butt soaking wet!
Um…ever heard of photoshop? I’m sure she’s not even sitting in the cup. She’d fall flat on her face.

unique..as to how she got in there, I would take a guess that she was photographed sitting on an object such as a small box, then photoshopped into a another picture.

It did cross my mind that the picture wasn’t all that awkward and maybe she was trying to get some face-time. “You’re so vain…you probably think this song is about you”…lol

She’s beautiful, but um…I wouldn’t call this awkward, but um…it’s um…different.
What happened here? How do you get the idea; “Lets sit down in a glass with a coaster and take a picture”? If it was a promo picture or some advertising idea then fine, those can be strange. But it sure doesn’t look like any of those pictures. So my question stands: why?

I think it’s senior picture. That’s why it’s awkward. What parent in thier right mind would let this be a senior pose?
I actually never did understand the whole “girl in a cup” idea for pictures. I think it IS a bit awkward…

This is a great picture. Why is it awkward?
Look at her arm – she was obviously holding or touching something in the original photo – and you should be able to see the rim of the martini glass behind her hand, but it’s not there.
And, why is there water in the glass? That makes no sense.
And the doily.
Laws of physics lead me to believe this was photoshopped, but in a good way. (Don’t accuse me of being the one pointing the photo shop finger of blame!) If it wasn’t photoshopped I’d like to know (a) how she got in there and didn’t tip it over (b) why she doesn’t care her dress is all wet and (c) if this is a senior portrait, what her parents are expecting the college years to be like….

Her dress is not wet because it’s a photo prop. There are two walls of glass (plastic, actually, I bet) and the water is in between. I have some mugs like that, you put them in the freezer and they get nice and frosty for beer. Really not that hard to figure out…..and how she got in there? You don’t think that’s attainable? Do you own a ladder?

I dunno, with her coloring (and taking the background into consideration) I would say a cherry is more in order.

You wouldn’t get big sections of hair perfectly placed with a fan.
The thing that makes it awkward in my opinion is that there’s liquid in the glass and her bee-hind is in it.
No liquid in the glass; just a line near the top of it.
I just noticed that. That definitely makes it awkward.
No liquid in glass even though it appears to be 2/3 – 3/4 full. Wait, Maybe there is liquid tin the glass but she is not really in the glass!!! Still, a great photo concept. Oh, and she is one dynamite hottie!!!!
