Yet another Michael Crawford fetish.

One of many examples showing that cute and awkward are by no means mutually exclusive.
Its stupid that the photographer has him leaning his head on hers to keep the mask up!!!
He kinda looks like River Phoenix.
I love this photo!!!! I loooove phantom of the opera! I mean the picture could been aittle better, but the idea is fantastic.
Aside from the leaning candles, this photo isn’t that awkward. I think it’s cool.
Note the symbolism. Tho he tries, he can’t “hold a candle” to her.
He is hottttt
Phantom looks like a creeper trying to sneak a peek
Using his bionic x-ray eye to check down her blouse
Awwww….is that a mask ??? I thought he’d sneezed with a mouthful of vanilla yoghurt.
I like this pic a lot, actually. Sure, the set up is a tad amateur, and could have been done better, but I like the look on his face and egads, she’s too pretty!
I agree, I think she is stunning.
I particularly appreciate the bent candles.
I’m glad I’m not the only one.
Weird photo, but the lady in it is way too pretty. Seriously, normal people shouldn’t be allowed to look like that!
Photo for cover of the programme for the local amateur production of “The Phantom of the Opera”…..
Well, I’m hoping so, otherwise this IS just plain awkward.
If that is actually you, your gorgeous and belong in movies.
Her clothes don’t fit, his mask doesn’t fit, and it looks like he’s looking down her blouse. Trifecta!
Doesn’t the Phantom *NOT* end up with Christina? Does this mean he wants her but she wants a different man?
Yeah, he tricks her to coming to this dungeon thing and her actual fiancee comes to save her. The Phantom has some sort of break through and realizes she does not want to be with him. He later kills himself. Awkward.
it may have seemed like a cute idea at the time, but what are they going to think 10, 20 years down the road?
The awkward part is that the mask obviously doesn’t fit him, which is why he has to lean against her head to hold it on….
You’re right. I think he is leaning on her to keep the mask from hitting the floor. So funny!
I love POTO! This pic isn’t awkward to me, but cute.
I have to agree…I would have set it up a tad different, but all in all it’s sweet.
You DON’T think this is awkward?????
Oh wow. So what’s under the mask?
Have you never seen Phantom??
Go rent the 2004 PotO with Gerard Butler, although I recommend the 1929 silent version with Lon Chaney if you can get it. Gerry!Phantom’s face is more of a sunburn-of-doom but you’ll get the idea.
