“This is my mom and dad who went to visit my brother in Texas. They stopped off at a scenic overlook in Austin to take some picutures. I have no idea who that is in the background nor why they are dressed that way, but they obviously thought it was a Kodak moment too.”

can you say “I don’t know perspective?” She does have a shadow. It’s on her other side, going at an angle from the cliff to the shrub behind her. A shadow is going to be on the opposite side of a light source, and if the light source is on the right, the shadow is going to be on the left.

as for the pic, it was w/ a pro photographer for some promo work i was doing… my last name is justice so i was doing a superhero theme… i think this was like march 09… omfg im still laughing! too funny… anyway im not sure exactly whats going on w/ my face here but im sure its more annoyed w/ sun in the face and the wind doing the exact opposite of what we were wanting… i know we got the shot cuz i used it for awhile but i cant seem to find it at the moment … anyway enjoy ive got more family portraits to bomb … UP UP AND AWAY!!

Oh, that’s me in the background! My family decided to picnic that day, so, typically, I was wearing my “hanging out with the family at the river” ensemble. You know, pleather swimsuit, gogo boots, and a cape (helps to protect my fair complexion). I couldn’t figure out why those strange people in the Texas shirt and yellow tank sweater kept following me around. Initially, I had assumed that the smell of mamaw’s fried chicken was luring them, but then it was as if they were trying to photograph me or something. Freaks!
Now that’s gold!!
