Size Doesn’t Matter

Hope the baby isn’t really that way up – it’s breech!
It’s a cute idea. But like a few people have said, they didn’t need to take their clothes off lol. Otherwise, I like it… Idea saved!
I THINK IT’S BEAUTIFUL. GOOD JOB!
Its so shocking how many people are forced to look at these pics, they can’t click onto another page, yet they can make cruel comments about a lovely family who wanted to remember a happy time before their baby was born. Poor people. Just for future reference, so that you don’t have to look at these photos again, theres a little x in the top right corner of your screen. Click on it.
You must be new here.
You must be always here instead
This is what the comment area is for! You MUST be new here!
Honestly at first from just the thumb nail it looked like a father, mother & small child…which I thought was very awkward, than when I saw full picture & how it was done, I think it it’s very cool & a great picture to have in the baby’s album!!!
We all have a story to tell, how we chose to tell it is or business…I express myself through my art as a stylist as well as tell my story on me with my tats…
very true and such a beautiful way to describe it xD….
from one artist to another very artistic
iTS Neat but they didnt need to take their clothes off
I don’t understand why people don’t read the caption with the photo. If it is worth your time to comment at least do two things: READ THE MOTHER F***ING CAPTION! And realize these people aren’t you. If this is how they want to portray their feelings to one another and welcome a new member to their family then that’s the way they can and will do it. Who cares if it seems insignificant or strange to you. It’s not about how you feel about it’s about how they feel. Great picture.
why does everyone assume its a tattoo, and not like a charcoal drawing on her belly …?
so its not a tattoo? im relieved
It is easy to do this in Photoshop (I’ve done numerous tatoos on photos). I doubt very much they really had drawn anything on her. Great idea for a photo
Yikes.
This is really really cool, and they said they used #2 pencil only! I would Havre loooooooved for my parents to have a cool pregnancy photo like this (^_^)
That fetus tattoo is going to look like a raisin after the birth and the belly is all squishy.
umm read it… its a #2 PENCIL. not a tattoo… as in its draw on…
I’ll be honest the thumbnail leading me here made the pic look awkward but once i saw the full pic it went from awkward to beautiful
Beautiful picture. Nothing awkward about it.
We had something similar to this done when i was pregnant , don’t listen to all the negative comments i think that the picture turned out wonderful. Congratulations on your new little family
It looks like it’sdrawn on with charcoal or graphite…….probably wash off
Creepy. Just think, in a number of years, this kid will go online and see this. Then will promptly ask “WTF?”
What the hell is wrong with some people?!!
Beautiful! <3 Congratulations on your wonderful new family member. Ignore all of the ignorant comments…they're not worth your time. This is simply lovely.
Poor kid never knew why it’s nickname was “Fetus”.
LOL
oh, the stories the child will hear growing up… and telling its children and grandchildren
That’s just weird.
Wow! I love her golden yellow bra to top it all off! This has to be the worst I have seen in a while!
Seams a lot of thought has gone into this photo, and it is very interesting well done to the couple and art-us
WTH is an ART-US? Did you mean ARTIST? LOL!
They mean art+fetus=art-us
Folks, I don’t think anyone is offended by it. It’s just kitschy and ridiculous.
I see London I see France, I really dont care to see this pregnant woman’s underpants (and belly).
I think this picture is an amazing work of art and as far as snarky comments, some people are just plain ignorant …..and would not know beauty or art if it smacked them in the face.
i agree, its a bit odd but its amazing <3
your not supost to get tattoo when u having baby it can hurt it
It’s not a tattoo, you can clearly see they’ve used chalk or some other sort of colouring utensil to draw it on, therefore no harm is done to the fetus
Getting a tattoo in general hurts, i have five. And the reason of not getting tattoo’s while pregnant isn’t because “they hurt” its because they can cause your body to contract and give you an early labour causing either premature birth or miscarriage, and i know this because a family friend is a tattoo artist. So no, not only do they tell you its drawn with a #2 pencil, but only fools dont know its NOT a tattoo. And its beautiful, they would have liked it which is why they did it, its not their fault it ended up on a ridiculous site like this. Its a beautiful picture and your mother should have taught you “if you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all”
@Snowflake. “Only fools don’t know its NOT a tattoo.” Why would that make people fools? Cant they just be mistaken? You’re not a very nice person.
I think it’s an awesome expression of the love this couple has for themselves and their unborn child. What anyone else thinks or says shouldn’t matter, only how they feel. Blessings to you!!!
???????????????
Its beautiful. Will people get over theirselves there is nothing wrong with this at all. Just like Facebook taking down breast feeding photos. Like they were porn or something. Yet some of the poor taste images and stuff said online stays on. We are getting it all wrong.
Beautiful photo anyway.
Great job, guys. Love the pic. Congratulations on the baby. Best wishes.
The baby is upside down!
Breech baby!
If they really wanted to make an artistic statement, it would’ve been done completely nude. The lemon yellow bra and his wierd boxers distract. I saw in another comment that the photo was stolen and uploaded. Too bad for them. Good sketch tho..
Shouldn’t the image of the unborn baby be head-down to be accurate? Try giving birth to a baby coming out buttocks-first.
I did, and believe me, it was no fun!
Nope, it turns around when it’s time, during the pregnancy the baby can be in more or less any position. Sometimes they are born “seat first” and sometimes they can be manually turned prior to delivery if they don’t do it themselves.
Nope it can be upside down the entire pregnancy! My son was upside down most of his time in my belly.
Nope. Neither that baby (as it is sketched) nor that belly are full term. It turns head down when it is ready to be born.
Umm, no it doesn’t…. It turns sideways, but it does develop upside down. We talked about this in my anatomy class. Not to mention it’s almost anatomically impossible for the baby to flip upside, inside the mother right before it’s about to be born; there’s not room for it to move.
WIN.
I just had a baby and my son turned morning of surgery. I had way to much fluid and he was a large baby so it is possible.
You might want to go back to Anatomy class because babies DO turn and flip and move all around at all stages of pregnancy! My most recent son turned to head down one week before he was born!
Babies turn all the time, when I was pregnant with my son I had an ultrasound at 20 weeks, 22 weeks, and 24 weeks( cause he was in the wrong position) and he was head down at the 22 week and head up at the 20 and 24 week. Then he stayed head up and I had to have a c-section. Now with my daughter she was head down at the last ultrasound. And personally I wish I had a creative mind to have thought of something like this I got boring stand here look here( but they all look the same!!)
This is my friend. The baby was born in November 2011. Someone stole this picture and did share it. So wrong. But the picture is soo cute!
…*blink*
there certainly is no accounting for taste.
Or manners, ceegee.
thats so kool
think it looks great its something different and not at all dirty in anyway i would have loved to do something like that years ago when my wife had our children go on you both ….
A beautiful loving couple who have a beautiful outlook on life, love and blessings to the three of you’s.
I am 60 years old and I think that is absolutley beautiful.
People that get offended with things like that should just take it off their screen straight away and forget about it.
As for the clothing she has on at least she has clothes on and she wears it all in good taste.
Congratulations to the couple. Couldn’t see what sex the baby is.
Great work – what a great piece memory you will always have of this pregnancy! Thanks for sharing!
I think that is pretty cool!
i think however these people choose to enjoy their experience with pregnancy is their choice! if you dont like it dont look. good on them for being different and expressing their love their way
I don’t see what could offend people to me it is a beautiful work of art and it depict’s how a young expecting mother feels and the father of the child looks so proud take a moment and look at their faces I urge people not to criticize how a woman who is having a baby how they express themselves, after all it is art and hope mother, father and their baby best wishes and my full support and to the one’s who dare to be a critic “GET A LIFE”.
P.S. I am a proud Father of 4 and Grandfather to 11

i think its beautiful… ppl need to take thier heads out of there butts….. good pic guys xox
very clever pic
what an amazing way to visualize your baby..thats so awesome……we all can’t wait for pics of our babies when they are born,,, but to have the image while still pregnant is awesome….good on you…what a treasure to keep
That is an aweome picture and for sure represents closeness of family. Awkward? Hell no – except to narrow minded people that probably need to start looking in their own backyards first.
OnYa guys
Don’t give a damn what ya all say, I reckon it’s an awesome photo. Good on them for doing it.
I agree with Paul. I think it’s a wonderful photo. They look so happy and proud together. I think people should get over it and stop worrying about other peoples business. Good on you two for celebrating your developing baby. x
