Sorry Kristine but I don’t think you’re correct. There are clearly lines where the tape overlaps, also the lapels and edges of the jacket are way too thick for it to be silver lame fabric. You’ve obviously never had the pleasure of making clothes from duct tape – it’s really very flexible!
I want to marry him and have many duct tape-clad children. We will raise a new race of super bowling babies and take over the planet! (Or at least Cleveland.)
Duck! Duck! Duck! First used in WWII to keep moisture out of ammunition casings. It was also made out of cotton duck. Hence, people called it Duck Tape long before they called it Duct Tape. The things you learn from MythBusters…

This is the best set of comments
on any picture ever. Oh man I thank you for these laughs. Thankyou.
When I realized, on top of everything else, the outfit is made of duct tape, I only had more questions …. o_O
I can’t believe this thread is up to 42 comments and no one has asked, “Why a duck?”
Why not a duck?
Sorry folks, the outfit is NOT made of duct tape or duck tape (whichever you prefer) rather it is made of silver lamé fabric. (You can tell by how it hangs.) All the more awe insiring!

This is James, one of my good friends. It was definitely duct tape. Sorry Kristine!
That guy must be my dad’s long lost child with all that duct tape that was used!
Before Lord of the RIngs, there was Lord of the Wingnut.
its pretty crazy when someone you know ends up on the internet
I know right?! I went to high school with this guy… pretty sure he wore a duct tape tux to prom as well…
“We shall play in the sunlight…..You cant hit what you cant see”
I think its an aluminum foil outfit the foil hat was removed to show the total awesomeness!!
The super-determined expression can only come from having to hold the bowling ball in that awkward position while the photog took one too many takes …
Its a dodgeball….not a bowling ball
Actually, I’m proud I didn’t know that.
All this talk of duct tape and not one person noticed his ears. Now those are impressive! Long may he wave!
It’s not duct tape, it silver lamé fabric, with cap sleeves and shorts no less!
Quit hating on the young brother. Every guy reading this post knows damned well, we all have that same outfit in our closet.

Decca. You made me laugh. Thank you!!!!!
Then my job is done.
“If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball….”
If I weren’t so intimidated I would tell him his jacket has princess sleeves.
LOL- Love the post!
DUCT TAPE
“I have no OFF switch, because everytime, is GO time”
I wish my mom woulda let me get my high school photo in my duct tape outfit!!
As I’m looking at this picture, my husband is watching “Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story” on Comedy Central. Quite the coincidence, huh? LOL
How could his mother let him wear that tee shirt!? A black tee shirt would have MADE this outfit.
I don’t think anyone has mentioned ductape yet. Oh, no, maybe they have.
I don’t think those are shorts. I think its a skirt.
The intimidation factor would be ratcheted up to 10 if we could see the waist band of the duct tape briefs underneath.
I think we can get at least 5 or 6 more people to ask if this is a duct tape jacket/outfit? C’mon, y’all don’t let me down.
Inspiring!
Dodgeball in space-Alien annihilation
Did he make his outfit out of ductape?
It’s the duct tape shorts and jacket that make the man.
Who ever thought that duck tape wasn’t fashionable?
Duct! Duct! Duct! There is no “ducktape”! Gaaaah!
Duck! Duck! Duck! First used in WWII to keep moisture out of ammunition casings. It was also made out of cotton duck. Hence, people called it Duck Tape long before they called it Duct Tape.

GOOSE!!!
If that is a duct tape outfit i mark this in my most awesome pictures of life!! LOL
Is his outfit made from duct tape??
This is great! One question though – is that vest made from duct tape? I’m thinking yes.
Is that a duct tape shorts suit, or do I only wish it was?
This is AWESOME! Imagine that glittering figure advancing toward his poor opponent…then, SMACK!
The look, the silver jacket and shorts, the hair…..
I….have…..no……words.
