Bahahaha best part of this she is sitting right next to me!!!!!!
and she is my girlfriend…..
That, my friends, is a Berkner Bandolera — circa mid/late 90s if I had to guess. (Go Pearce Mustangs!)
OK, we have nothing like this in northern Michigan.
Oh dear, the things Texas drill team members do for pictures.
(I say this out of total love, understanding, and a “believe me, I’ve been there” point of view).
She is soooo gooooood!
She has the legspan of a condor
Don’t even want to think about all the lane oil she’s picking up…
OMG, my niece is a Lake Highland Highlandette and will move this summer to Texas State University to be one of the Strutters. We have pictures of her niece in similar poses. Those girls are flexible! Only in Texas!
Looks like she’s practicing the 7-10 split.
HILARIOUS!
Well I’m BOWLED over by this one…
I’d like to see her bowl in those boots … mind you I’d like to see her split!
Hey, I can do that!! (bowl, that is… not contort my body into positions it has never and will not ever experience)
If someone rolled a gutter ball, it would probably break her leg.
Tsk,tsk,tsk…..the girl from the gutter (or two gutters)
Just seeing this photo makes my 50+ year-old hips hurt. OW!
Jackpot!
Even the ball seems perplexed by it all.
OMG I know that girl!! hahaha She went to my high school. Those are the Bandolera drill team outfits.
Would love to know the story behind this stupendous bit of awkwardness…
It’s an advertisement for the bowling alley in our town. The drill team would go take pictures like this all over the place (bowling alleys, car dealerships, furniture stores) and the pictures would be in the football program. I’m surprised one didn’t up here a long time ago.
And it’s in Texas, right?
Yes, Emily, We’re in Texas. : )
OMG, I KNEW it had to be in Texas! LOL!!!! Is this in Bandera by any chance?
