    Love this…creative as hell!

    “When X-Ray techs are expecting”

You can have an xray while pregnant. I had to have one when my son turned and broke my ribs. No he doesn’t glow & he’s perfectly fine. They took the x ray to make sure he didn’t puncture my lung when he broke the ribs. I do however have an xray of his skeleton as a fetus(36 weeks along)

  4. Elaine says:

Seriously…some of you are debating if this is real or not? I’m looking at it thinking it’s just creepy…not wondering if it’s real. Of COURSE it’s not real. It’s INTENTINONALLY fake. On purpose. As in…. That was the idea. It’s just a weird, creepy pic that’s more funny than anything. Get it together you guys….

  5. whoops says:

Can’t wait to see the recreation…

  6. Sweetness says:

Lol some of you are misinformed. You CAN have an x-ray while pregnant–I had one unknowingly being pregnant because I hadn’t found out yet. My son is here now, and he’s just fine–but yes it’s not good to. The baby’s head doesn’t have to be turned down . The baby will go head down (closer to birth) when they are ready, but sometimes they never do . Thus, resulting in a c-section because that would be breech. Granted, this isn’t a real picture but just commenting to those comments that are misinformed.

  7. ahah says:

Of COURSE this is photoshopped!!! Why is it even a question?

  8. BabyExpert says:

Umm. This picture is anatomically inaccurate. Did anyone else catch that or just me?

  9. Bama says:

Nowhere NEAR as awkward as finding out there are people who think this is being passed off as an actual picture of fetus and father…

  11. tabatha272 says:

though it is creative, its not possible – NO medical personal would x-ray a pregnant woman. That is why they ask that awkward question “could you be pregnant”

    • Stephanie says:

Though I agree the photo is fake, it is not true that they will not xray you while pregnant. If the benefits of the xray outweigh the possible harm to the fetus (such as obtaining information about a life-threatening condition), they will xray a pregnant woman. How do I know? I had to have xrays during two different pregnancies.

  12. horn1 says:

Uhh…the baby does not sit in that position while inside it’s mother. The babies head should be upside down.

    • Christina says:

The baby does move into that position towards the end of pregnancy.

    • Andrea says:

Not the whole pregnancy. Just the last few weeks most of the time. My youngest didn’t flip till he was almost born.

    • gavebirth says:

Umh.. babies do “roll around” during pregnancy. Sometimes they are horizontally, sometimes vertically. My first born was upside down “attached” only just minutes before birth, others may be upside down earlier.
So, sorry to say, you were a little bit wrong with your comment.

      But nice photoshop anyway.

  13. kay c says:

    Pretty creative!

  14. mellowlandings says:

The child still glows in the dark To This Day.

  15. Joyce says:

One of the mother’s fingers is under the babies’ upper arm. Definitely photoshopped. But it certainly qualifies as awkward!

  16. Jennifer says:

It looks less like the baby kissing the father through the stomach of the mother, than it does that the father is trying to eat the baby. Also the baby’s hand is resting on the father’s teeth. Yep. This is one of the most creepy photos on here.

  17. Karen says:

    Is Daddy Darth Vader?

  18. Arry says:

This actually looks like a chimp X-ray, no nose bones, protruding jaw…whatever it is, it’s strange indeed!

  19. S says:

Since nobody else brought it up, maybe the baby’s mom or dad is a doctor, so that’s why they made it medically themed…

  20. Courtney says:

I dunno, this makes me feel pretty awkward. XD

  21. Peds Doc says:

Pretty sure they are not human.

  22. Matti says:

this made me laugh. baby skeleton dentist.

  23. Amanda says:

well if you get past the fact that an x-ray of an infant would look nothing like that due to many bones not being calcified yet, and realize that this is a photoshop mash-up photo, it’s actually pretty neat in the talent/time it took to make this. Creepy, yes. Talent required to make it, yes.

  24. C says:

I am so confused by the purpose of this.

  25. Sara D says:

    Sooo creepy.

  26. Simon says:

If a doctor took a radiograph of a pregnant woman as a snap, he would likely find himself in front of a disciplinary panel. At least I hope he would! X-ray radiographs use significant amounts of radiation.

    • April says:

It’s not a REAL xray – you can tell by looking at the line up of the woman’s hand, and also you have to figure the chances of the baby being lined up perfectly with dad’s face are pretty slim.

    • amy says:

X-rays now days does not have a lot of radiation

  27. Epea says:

    That is totally FAKE!!

  28. alifre says:

Not very healthy for a fetus or a baby! I somehow think that the Xray was taken after the baby was born. Pretty unlikely you’d get a baby in womb to be kissing daddy on the lips so precisely.

  29. Susan says:

Bizarre, yes. Strange, yes. Awkward…I’d have to say no, compared to some of the other pregnancy photos on this site. I like it.

  30. Kimm says:

We have a winner! This is the strangest photo ever show on AFP. I think it is a dad and a baby in womb showing affection over the momy’s tummy? Yes?

  31. Cheryl says:

    • Mic C says:

And you thought it couldn’t get more awkward. We need to hear from the photographer on this one. X-ray = extra creepy.

  32. Kootie says:

this has got to be THE most bizarre pregnancy photo ever! but kudos to her for having her belly covered up…

  33. Danyellow says:

    This is terrifying.

  34. I'mJustSayin' says:

Just when I think I’ve seen the most awkward possible pregnancy photo on this site, you go one better and post something like this. Is there no end to the madness?

  35. ponownie says:

    Just amazing…
