  3. Amy Jo says:

WHY? That guy & the two old ladies are looking right at her vagina! The other two women are looking at her like she’s crazy for taking a picture.

  4. TED says:

Why on Earth would she bring all her family-to a checkup?

  5. Everybody out! says:

    My god..no freaking way..lol.

  6. anneliese says:

I took the same photo when i was in labor

  7. Melissa says:

I think it is hysterical! Any woman who has ever delivered a child knows that any and all sense of modesty departs quickly with numerous people gathering around the birth event. Might as well invite the whole family in!

    • CJ says:

Speak for yourself! I only wanted my husband there and he watch the bloody mess that goes on up close! In my opinion this is a medical procedure not some spectacle sport. My son came out healthy that’s all that matters.

      • Sioux says:

I agree completely…i didn’t want anyone there but my husband!

      • tessa says:

        *SPECTATOR sport.

      • Jessica says:

Birth isn’t really a medical procedure… in fact more people who give birth in the world do so without hospitals, doctors, or medical equipment. Birth is a natural process (unless done via c-section). You could labor in your backyard and deliver on your own… not really a “medical procedure” but I understand where you’re coming from with not wanting everyone and their mom up in your business.

I had the opportunity to be with my friend when she delivered her daughter, and it was the most amazing experience I have ever had. I understand why people want to be there for it!

    • Janp says:

      So true!!

      • me says:

This is the speech that I gave while I was pregnant, “If you weren’t there during the conception, you will not be there during the birth. There are no bleachers for a reason. Birth is not a spectator sport.”

  8. SpudBHM says:

    Dr. Jones, at your cervix…

  9. Julie Cavet says:

The look on Grandma’s face is priceless.

  10. CJ says:

This is my current OB! Such a great guy!! Awesome picture!! 🙂

  11. Anthony O'Neill says:

Nothing like the 2 grandmas staring at your veeg.

    • Kathie Walker says:

Yeah – like they’ve probably NEVER seen it before!!! Come on, really? Grandmas change TONS of diapers!

  12. Tasha says:

Funny, this looks just like my delivery room…terrifying to think that someone in my neighborhood would take this photo!

  13. Sadie says:

Omg I love the looks on the girls faces! Those are some forced smiles! Lol

  14. mcelicious says:

Nothing says lovin’ like something from the oven!

  15. MooseNuggette says:

The only thing that would make this photo worse would be a reflection in the OB’s glasses.

  16. Brittany says:

This was my OB!! I can’t believe he’s on here. Hillarious. Such a great guy, totally would be fine with a photo like this. Love it.

  17. Mary says:

Hilarious! Reminds me of an ad I saw in Sweden once for “Swedish Idol”. LIke American Idol only Swedish. It was a woman in the “position” with a team of doctors and her husband all poised to “catch” and the caption said something like “Expecting big things on Swedish Idol this season!” Just as hilarious!

  18. Alan says:

I’ve heard of ‘looking up old friends’,but this is not what I thought it meant

  19. Tony says:

    Oh, the wrongness…

    • Merry2 says:

THANK YOU. Finally someone says what needed to be said.

      • bean says:

Indeed! And also because this is one of the hardest ways to push a baby out! Gravity is not on your side & also your tailbone kind of gets in the way, making the opening smaller. Why oh why?

  20. Stacey says:

Love how girls are looking into the camera/face and guy is checking out the goods — while grammy is like WTH??

  21. Adele says:

I can’t think of anything that puts “awkward” and “family” into a photo better than this! LOL!

  22. huh says:

Hahahahahaha….the guy is the only one not looking into the camera….and by the way… she is NOT giving birth…he would NOT be smiling if he knew what really happens.

  23. Molly says:

OMG this is hilarious. I might just have to do this if I ever get pregnant.
