This happens to be my newborn son…on the day he was brought home from the hospital! My sister in law was playing Anne Geddes with him and took this while I was out of the room. This is an homage to his late Pa, who was an avid deer hunter. I guess I never really thought of how awkward it was, but was totally thrilled to see the response on this site…even though the photo was posted by a stranger and without my permission
Correction: AFP changed the credit so that it is accurate now!

Is this why they decided to name him Buck??
That’s my next pose for my upcoming baby shoot. Now where do I get the antlers?
It’s an antler. Anne Geddes meets Big Buck Hunter.
When the Ferber Method fails… astute parents choose “The Claw”.
I agree with the “what were they going for?” idea…. & loved the “CLAW” comment! For reasons I don’t quite get, I found the picture kind of unsettling… At least the baby is cute!
The Claw chooses who will go, and who will stay.
