I can understand why someone might think it was taken on the inside of a log cabin, but I agree with JanG that it was most likely taken on the outside of the cabin.
Outside on the back porch probably. The food is on the outside shelf to keep cold either because the place doesn’t have electricity and/or a fridge or there isn’t room in the fridge. My grandma used to store food in the garage after Thanksgiving and Christmas if her fridge was full.
