“A photo of my sister and I in our room. In our PJs, we loved stuffed animals and Tom Selleck.”
(submitted by Cassie)
I asked my girlfriend, “What doesn’t belong in this picture of a kid’s room”? She couldn’t figure it out, so I proceeded to point at things, she pops off with, “The picture of that Porn Star Ron Jeremy”!
this picture makes the kids song….one of these things is not like the others…..go through my head…
or that the curtains, pillow and her nightgown all match 🙂
I had the same red onesie when I was a kid!
I laughed so hard when I saw this picture! My Granny had the same picture of Tom Selleck hanging on her bedroom wall until she passed away when I was 7 in ’84.
Come on guys, do you seriously mean to tell me you don’t have a framed Tom Selleck picture in your home?
I know, right?
That’s Burt Reynolds not Tom Selleck
No, it’s definitely Tom Selleck.
You’re both wrong…it’s Alex Trebek. 😉
Answers in be form or a question, please. What it Alex Trebeck?
The correct answer is, Who is Alex Trebeck?
I still have that same brown teddy bear!!!! It looks like hell, but this is the first time I’ve ever seen another one just like it.
took me a few seconds to find it………… It’s not “disturbing”, just weird, who puts pictures of Magnum PI in their kids’ bedroom? Especially little girls…! It’s just funny. Of course it could just be that their daddy is the perfect clone of Tom Selleck.
I totally had a poster of Tom Selleck when I was about that age! (the older girl anyway) My favourite movie as a little girl was High Road to China!
Tom Selleck. Oh, of course. I was thinking the kids look like Dinah Shore.
Do you think they told them that Thomas Magnum was their daddy?
What am I missing? All I notice is the mentioned doll “holding on for dear life” to the moon.
Selleck…..Tom Selleck…..in a baby’s room…..in the midst of stuffed animals and dolls
Why should anything be disturbing about the Selleck photo? Shades of Three Men and a Baby!
(I think it likely this photo was taken when the movie was out, too.)
Doesn’t seem odd to me either, I had a full on poster. I think it’s earlier than 1987 though, I’d lay odds on 84 at the latest. 🙂
I’m actually more alarmed by the doll holding on for dear life to the moon.
