Behind The Awkwardness: Big Bunny

March 24th, 2013

“I am The Overgrown Easter Bunny.  It was 1984, I was 10 years old.  My grandfather insisted that I dress up like the Easter Bunny for my younger cousins and siblings.  This photo shows me with my mom, dad, sister and brother.  I was mortified, though my brother is the one emoting how I was feeling inside.”

Hahaha! This reminds me of my brother when he was about 5 or 6, he didn’t have anything for Halloween to wear, so mom pulled out this mouse costume and told him to wear that, and when he refused, she told him that he couldn’t go trick-or-treating, and so he said, “Fine, fine, fine. I’ll be the bunny.” :) This is so cute!

Where did you get the bunny costume?

You’re adorable! Not awkward at all, although I can see how your 10 year old self might have thought so – just about everything is mortifying at that age.
