    That’s Hank and Peggy Hill!

  2. Lizzie says:

Everything here initially screamed “OLAN MIILLS” to me; but the style was too creative. Olan Mills was not that “daring”…LOL! I did notice tho, that despite the dated styles, odd spacing, that the picture was sweet; they all kind of looked like nice people. Wish we could see what they all look like today; the kids are no doubt today even older now than their parents were in the original picture! They say that every picture tells a story. Wonder what theirs ended up being?

  3. Lisa Newlin says:

Do you think these are their ideas of what their kids would look like, or do these kids actually exist?

  4. john says:

He looks like russell crowe, what a fine looking man

I really like the mom’s dishy halter top. If only we could see the rest of the outfit!

I’m wondering if this was originally in a mat with four circular holes cut in to it. It may not look odd if it was matted and framed like that.

    • Max says:

You are right, those were supposed to be framed in a special way so it was like multiple individual protraits all in one frame!

  7. Cheryl says:

This is actually a really cute picture! They look like a sweet family. My parents had a similar pic taken of our family, my sister and I are floating above them too – must have been a trendy new technique back in the day!
