The Birthday Cake - Behind The Awkwardness

“I was really proud of this Spiderman cake I made for my sons 4th birthday. I tried to get both Spiderman and the motorcycle he was riding on the top of the cake. Unfortunately, both didn’t fit. I didn’t realize until the party was in full swing what exqctly Spiderman was doing to the cake.”

I thought maybe the Invisible Woman was also on the cake…

  8. Ruby says:

  9. Kevin says:

    “I want a f****ng Spider-Man cake!”

    “Ok. You got one.”

  10. sarah says:

Or maybe spiderman sitting on his motorcycle made him too tall for whatever cake carrier she was using?

  11. Tom says:

    What cream filling was it?

  12. Paul says:

I don’t see the problem here. Spiderman is getting himself a piece of cake.

  13. That Guy says:

Why does Spiderman have a motorcycle?

  14. jen says:

I thought maybe she did put the motorcycle on the cake … and it sunk in the frosting.

  16. Harry says:

    That is hilarious! Well done!

  17. Rob Apel says:

If there is enough room for spiderman then there is enough room for the motorcycle too. Since he would be on top of the motorcycle both would have taken up no extra room on the top of the cake. Either a better explanation is needed for this or somebody’s motorcycle isn’t firing on all cylindars.

Were you there? Did you see the motorcycle? Is it possible the motorcycle was wider or longer than Spidey?

      • Lisa says:

Maybe the bike and Spidey were too heavy, and kept falling over. Sounds like your brain might not be firing on all cylinders, etither. 😉

This is hilarious. Why question the story? My son has this same toy and the motor cycle is a wide quad. Of course, she didn’t want to cover the writing on the cake and the motorcycle would be hanging off the side. Also, spiderman does not change positions. This is totally legit and I love it 🙂

    • JP says:

Spidey won’t fit with the motorcycle if the lid is on the cake carrier.

  18. In full “swing”? How apropos.
